Some of them might never touch it, but most will try it out and some might like it.

There's lots to like:

- Don't have to sign up with a website to log into your local computer

- No invasive telemetry watching everything you do

- No trying to sell you stuff

- Much less expensive than buying a new computer

- Probably faster than a new computer with Windows 11

- Can come with LibreOffice, CAD modeling software, Steam, whatever web browser you want (even Microsoft Edge!), music and video players, an email client so you don't even need to open a browser to check your mail

The only solution I am aware of for a modern computer operating in sunlight is daylight computer. Screen is excellent. I am not sure I am happy with the direction daylight software stack is going.

What are your favorite negative character arcs?

A negative character arc is one where the protagonist gets worse over time rather than better. They might or might not turn for the better in the end, but the majority of the time is spent on a negative descent.

A well-done example would be Frodo. The ring wears him down through the course of the story.

An example that should have been good but wasn’t executed as well as it should have been, would be Anakin in the Star Wars prequel.

Honey or maple syrup?

His bow is one that I made from a piece of pvc pipe with a fiberglass rod inside for stiffness. It actually shoots really well, has about a 20 pound draw weight. It's great for him to learn on.

Selfbows that I've made in the past have typically been in the style of plains Indian bows. Fairly short and light. I really like the look of the Mongolian style bows but don't have any experience with them.
