Appeciate your reply but... I'm not a lawyer. And this is just my opinion 😉
Great thinking. Will nation states collaborate or compete? And how does that affect the incentives/game theory?
Matt and devs like him are too valuable to bitcoin (and humanity that depends upon it) to place at risk of encumbrance and persecution by unjust laws.
I'm sorry, but the law (in particular the Bank Secrecy Act) that violates fundamental human rights is the problem.
What if all routing was on TOR with no exit nodes or clear net required? Build it and they will come?
Is it possible to have an LSP that is *only* accessible by TOR/onion address, and *not* available by clear net?
Code is speech. Bitcoin is code. Bitcoin is speech. Is bitcoin money? If yes, then money is speech. Always has been. Bank secrecy act and its derivatives violate human freedom.
I hear you, thank you, and am trying to spread word of the threat of mevil. And that stratum is part of the solution.
But it definitely helps to protect oneself against it! Bitcoin is freedom money and the hardest money humanity has ever known, and a primary tool for a sovereign individual. Has the pendulum begun to swing the other way yet?
I hope we can be vigilant against such scammers that promote changes to bitcoin.
😂 Call me crazy, but I prefer a purpose built app for handling my satoshis. I heard an old iPhone can be used instead of a coldcard as long as the sim is removed /s 😜
Does anyone know if a downloadable apk is available? I do not wish to use a web app.
Thank you for your reply; value your opinion. It will be interesting to see if companies like Acinq feel the need to try to block US apk users, especially when they have not been directly compelled to do so.
So glad to hear you say this! I'm an early raspberry pi Start9 user, but I'm finally ready to upgrade to Intel. I've an old Mac mini that I was hoping to use, but there appear to be hoops to jump through to get it working. May just buy one of your machines, but disappointed the mini won't just work. FYI, #Tails works fine 😉 Thank you very much for your product and all you do! It is a very important means to make a stand against this tyranny from above. 🙏
I still carry an old iPhone as the weaning process continues, but am so glad I got a pixel and installed #GrapheneOS. No longer locked into any app store for FOSS, and can just use an apk.
For those on android, any opinion on just downloading the apk from github? github.com/ACINQ/phoenix/releases
Fountain is not open source. It doesn't align with how I wish to use my #GrapheneOS pixel. Does anyone know of a FOSS solution that does what Fountain does?
Does anyone know an easy way to move Vanadium bookmarks to a new profile?
