How many people see your tweets and think: You know what, I need to use nostr or I need to buy bitcoin? It's probably near zero, if not actually zero. Maybe I am wrong?

The only problem with Nostr is it’s too nice here…

I feel like this is more my home, community, and people; which is wonderful and a space I really needed, but I need a bit more of a fight. I’m considering returning to X in 2025 so I can keep fighting the retards and do my part to help get more people on the lifeboat of Bitcoin and Nostr before it’s too late.

I know it’s bad for my health, but so are all wars.

Rather than telling them about it, set the example. Be generous with your time and live a life that inspires others. As you grow and evolve, people will notice and they will at some point ask "What's Battery doing that's different?".

I rarely try to tell people about Bitcoin these days. I'm living my best life and because my intrinsic happiness and hopefulness for the future shines through, it attracts others who are have the same outlook. Eventually people ask me how are you so happy/hopeful, that's when I offer them a glimpse inside the rabbit hole.

Over the past 5 years, the people I surround myself have changed substantially. Sometimes you have to let go of the people who don't want to see you succeed. Never stop being true to yourself.

Washington, we have a problem. The day before the Fed cut interest rates on September 16th, the 10-year Treasury closed with a yield of 3.64%. The Fed has cut 100 basis points off its target rate since then. The 10-year yield has climbed 87 basis points. It’s up eight of the last nine trading days.

Official rates are going down. Market rates are going up. The bond market doesn’t like the idea of getting rid of the debt ceiling. It doesn’t like the idea of adding $2 trillion a year in new debt and paying $1 trillion interest on the $36 trillion we already have. And–this is arguable–it doesn’t seem to like the idea of borrowing even more money to ‘pay’ for new tax cuts.

The bond market can’t talk. It’s not a real person. But prices are information. And the 10-year Treasury price is the most important price in the market. The last several times the yield on the 10-year approached 5%, something ‘broke’ in the banking system (the assets of banks, when marked to market, dropped precipitously). What will happen next time? And could we find out as soon as next week/ Stay tuned.
