My dog (a Leonberger) tends to dribble water after drinking. I think he dribbled water across my kitchen tile yesterday. When I was putting away groceries quickly yesterday, I stepped on the wet spot and instantly, my feet shot out from under me and I crashed to the ground. In addition to bruises and minor abrasions on my left wrist, right knee, right elbow, and right shoulder, I seem to have really messed up my left foot. Last night, I couldn't even barely touch it to the ground and I still can't put the slightest weight on it. I don't know if I sprained it, tore something, and/or broke something, but it sure does hurt.

I'll be spending the whole day on the recliner couch with my foot propped up hoping for it to get better. Right now I'm trying to homeschool from the couch, with my laptop on one TV tray and my son's schoolwork on another.

He's supposed to be sitting in someone's lap because he can't reach 🥺

I will never get used to seeing Jr. driving the tractor by himself. Hug your babies, they grow up fast. The tantrums, sleepless nights, explosive poops and vomits are a distant memory. Should I have the RV park information as just a "nostr account" (npub) kind 0 or also include a separate event for the entity? I'll need to pull information from one of these to display the park information on the map. Is there anything similar that I can peak at?

The park availability snapshot (per day) I'll have as a replaceable event (maybe kind 33000).

My lightning node is messed up, likely due to some chamges I made last night. If anyone wants to try to zap me and let me know the error message they get, it'd be appreciated.

There's nothing obvious in the logs and I don't have time to deal with this right now, but having some pointers for when I get back to this would be helpful

Today is kind of a sad day. We have been blessed to have inherited a very old avocado tree. We have enjoyed it for years, but these last 2 years it has appeared to be slowly struggling.

We have consulted arborists and followed their recommendations and spent a lot of time and money to try to save this tree.

Turns out, it is infested with termites. Initially, it appeared to be just one of the limbs which we chopped, but the pest people discovered that it is essentially completely infested and therefore has to be removed from our property.

It will be missed, but will leave behind space for more opportunities of growth.

We got to go home today! 🥳

Our son has now seen his home for the first time.

We needed to start by cleaning cause windows had been left open. My amazing husband crawled on the floor, as I can't really do that yet, after having gone through surgery just a few days ago!!

Not only do we now have a schedule for feeding our son, but I have a schedule for taking pills.

Yep, I've become a pill popper. Hopefully it will clear up quickly and I won't be needing heartrate medication for long, but until then, I'll be popping pills.

Hopefully also some orange ones for other people 😏
