I’m a middle-aged dad and I vibe coded a key piece for a new business with 10 days or Claude Code and Cursor. I got it to the 10 yrd line and then hired a developer - who was a good HS runner - 4:24 1600m - to finish it. The tools are crazy.

However, in that scenario you have to know what you want the output to be.

But I think lawyers - like my partner - will be impacted by 2030 at the latest.

And robotics might be as wild or more wild.

Same. Been here less than a week and I think only a couple of the accounts following me are bots, which is refreshing.

I’m slowly starting to meet bitcoiners in the flesh in America. They don’t like to use it as money. One of them told me that I have to calculate my cost basis before I spend it. I’m not doing that.

We’re in the major city and there are only two places I can get a meal/coffee with it. And while it enjoy the food, they’re both serving unhealthy/greasy fare, so it can’t be a regular thing for me.

There are couple services that do home repair/service that take it - they have a sticker on their service trucks - but I rent so I won’t be supporting them.

It’s an odd feeling to walk through so many people and realize that in that crowd “not your keys not you coins” would be nonsense.

American football games are (mostly) played on Saturday. Today I got to go to my team’s game, which was a late kick-off - 8:15 pm.

As I was walking to the stadium I couldn’t help thinking, “I wonder how many people at this game run a node?”

The stadium seats 50,000 people. While there are more engineers and people working tech in the area there are also lots of “boomer” generation fans who think bitcoin is a scam. And while the university students may have some, it’s likely on an exchange.

The AI’s came up with 2-4 people besides me, tops. Another prompt just now and the number is 1 at most.

In Claude you can create a project folder. All the chats are saved there as are any documents you upload. And then it’s basically what McConaughey is wishing he had. Maybe I’ve missed this - if so let me know.

Also, if you had a post about use cases for each model that’d be great. I use the Deepseak the most, then OpenAI. I’m just asking ask questions. Both are great but I’m curious what their strengths are and what the other models excel at.

My technical limits in bitcoin are at the edge of running a node and sending and receiving bitcoin on chain. Past that I’m still learning.

With that as background, I thought I’d share this post because it’s roughly what my understanding is.

For a new pleb dad like me no one has clearly explained why a 1000x bigger op_return makes bitcoin better, more robust, more anti-fragile, for my kids (and their kids). But there does seem to be a real risk of having CSAM on the blockchain, and thus my node, and in the U.S. that can get me sent to prison.

This is a genuine question. I’m curious to hear what others have to say.

I was at a cross country meet on the front range two weeks ago. Looked up and saw the Lake County tent and thought “how awesome that those coaches took those kids to the meet.”

I can’t imagine what the drives are like in the winter for whatever league all of those school are in. My dad coached at Ft Fort Carson in the 1960s and Lake County was in their league.
