G'day all you wonderful nostr freaks. I'm guzzling this down and lugging warm water out to the rabbits and chickens. Brrr.

Yep. We have rabbits too. I've found these instructions helpful. https://riseandshinerabbitry.com/2012/01/22/tanning-rabbit-pelts/
Re: consolidating after mixing. Ideally you don't want to consolidate after mixing as this will degrade some of the anonymity. Consolidate first and then aim to enter the largest mixing pool (e.g. 0.1 btc). All your utxos come out as 0.1 or whatever size you entered... make sense?
You can neutralize it with a base. But I don't really worry about it. I just dilute it and spread it out. It's just sulphur, oxygen and hydrogen. Our soil has lots of calcium carbonate in it which neutralizes it. I've tried using it as a dissicant spray to kill weeds with little effect.
Lots of different methods for different types of tanning/preserving. I want to try bark/veg tanning. Check out buckskin revolution on YouTube and her website. Alum tanning is more for fur skins. I haven't used alum but have made sulphuric acid solution (pickling) with rabbit and mink skins.
For buckskin, its brains or eggs
They should be fine without heat unless you are in Alaska... but yes stopping drafts is a good idea. You don't want snow blowing in there...
Thx! Yes I love tanning and making useful stuff from skins. Something I keep coming back to is the fact that authentic buckskins were used as currency, hence the term "buck". Part of the reason they worked as currency was due to the fact that they took an incredible amount of work to produce. Which could not be cheated until the invention of chrome tanning. I call it fiat tanning!
Food! My proof of work.

Wow. Some sort of aster species. No frost kill where you are?
G'day sir. Just breathe. ;)
I loved hearing their story as tragic as it was. Her love for Hal is undeniably as powerful as the bitcoin network...
We are all in the drivers seat. Good morning!
Gm. Off to a good start. I need to catch up!
I find it pretty difficult to evenly terminate. I've been leaning more on growing as a harvestable crop. Thats why i have wide rows. Very small scale.
Rye is nearly unstoppable. It will sprout at just above freezing.

Its definitely better, but I still sometimes have issues. I eat it and 30 min. Diarrhea. Pork sometimes does this too. All other meats seem fine. It seems related to the fat content.. The more the worse.
