But isn't (one of?) the author(s) of utxo dealership nostr:npub1yxp7j36cfqws7yj0hkfu2mx25308u4zua6ud22zglxp98ayhh96s8c399s ? (SuperTestnet?)
It certainly fits precisely into the lines of research he was enthusiastic about when I met him earlier in the year.
We'll see if these kind of ideas gain any traction ... they've been vaguely suggested on and off for years but never saw someone do a concrete project for it yet.
I had not found his profile on Snort. Now on Primal it works somewhat. nostr:npub1yxp7j36cfqws7yj0hkfu2mx25308u4zua6ud22zglxp98ayhh96s8c399s shows but without avatar or nip05. Hmmm ...
Nostrgram uses nip07, so key exfiltration wasn't the concern. The assumption that open source projects magically get "programmers all around the world watching" isn't right neither. Sadly most open source projects have only their core team watching. Watching a quickly evolving software project is a full time job that people don't do lightly. Only projects that are used by many teams get good scrutiny.
I understand. And you are self-censoring in order to provide your followers a better experience by sticking to what you think they follow you for.
An AI could guess that and filter, translate or re-word posts.
So say I follow you because of Damus and never interact with any of your "gm" posts. My personal AI could hide the latter and summarize your longer posts on non-Damus topics and provide a button to read the original. My client could put your feed in the shape best suited for me. Once all use such tech, you could stop self-censoring.
That is interesting but at first glance, it's all just opinion. Zero stakes. So it's not actually a market. Still ... interesting.
How come I can't find the authors of UTXO-dealership or discussion of this topic here on nostr?
Anyway ... what could a miner do with "dirty" UTXOs I wonder? They can pay themselves high mining fees, turning coins with a history into freshly mined coins.
Facets of a persona. My mother tongue is German but I never write German as most would be irritated. Should I maintain a secondary account? And one for my hobby and one for my job and one for my favorite music ... ?
AI will fix this soon and translate, summarize or mute stuff on the receivers' end.
Is there any serious prediction market now where people trade on the escalation of the war in Ukraine? I feel like there's only propaganda everywhere and I have no clue what's about to happen next. I'd love to move back to my home country Germany but feel like sitting out this conflict in Chile isn't a bad idea neither.
The person who screwed up can proof control over the funds prior to the accident. No KYC needed. To pay out more than $10k it's still sensible to ask for ID.
nostr:npub1t9a59hjk48svr8hz6rx727ta6kx53n5d6fw8x26vsua0zytpl87sa6h4uw certainly was competent and churned out quality work in no time. It was the most promising for some time apart from being closed source. And what happened then is kind of the reason why I hated to help him debug it. I had sent numerous bug reports his way for what?
nostr:npub1t9a59hjk48svr8hz6rx727ta6kx53n5d6fw8x26vsua0zytpl87sa6h4uw was working on a closed source client nostrgram.co that supported such features. Sadly with him vanishing from all his social media presences I could find, his great client also turned obsolete.
And the developer vanished without a trace π
Vanished on Twitter, too :(
A tool to find local events in real time. This goes from the cinema programs and live concerts in the bar at the corner to spontaneous gatherings. The former exists plenty already for big cities but with every city you go to, you have to first find which one works and to which degree. The latter is probably what some would rather censor.
On the former: I like going out but somehow never find the hidden gems that friends invite me to. I want a tool that works globally where I can check for events, filtered by category. I want to see events that had a surge of interest among my follows or follows to the n-th degree.
On the latter: Security forces hate when people spontaneously gather and provoke mischief. If you reach enough people, promising 1000 bottles of free beer for the first to arrive at street address X would be enough to cause chaos.
In less cohesive societies, this could of course be used to organize revolts but even without an oppressive regime, the tool could be used to organize simple criminals to stretch the security forces thin by coordinating when to "go shopping".
To comment on this I'd need to know more about what you're planning to do here. Would you provide your findings as a paid api for client devs to use? Is tis a standalone service to find something? Etc.
Someone paid 8,182,079 sats/vbyte feerate, oooops...

Was this transaction floating around before it got mined? Might be an accounting trick for a miner to include it.
The US is fucked by whatever resulted among many things this abomination of a prison system. Crony capitalism maybe?
Please elaborate! Is this some AI stuff or user generated? How many topics?
Did you open an issue with them?
Ok, that is ... not what I thought it was then. Guess the UI should be a bit more clear about what's going on.
