Yup, made by great people too!
Sovereignty Zapped to your sovereign LN node, no 3rd-parties necessary ๐
The feeling of *actually using Lightning* is incredible, can't wait for tooling to improve and more people to take a bit of personal responsibility and dive into using Lightning properly.
Multisig often complicates estate planning, and there are ways to lessen SPOF for singlesig like the approach we've taken to encrypted backups:

Can't recommend it highly enough! Don't hesitate to DM with questions.
This is all either very outdated or flat out wrong. Answers to all of your points here:
Tbh for most people multisig is just overkill.
I'd normally just recommend a good hardware wallet with proper backups unless you have a very specific need for multisig that can be articulated.

One of the single best resources in the space, can't wait to see this!

100% #[2] as you already have a node, no better solution IMO.
If you don't want to use your node for some reason, Phoenix or Blixt are great alternatives that aren't custodial.
If you just want it on an existing computer you can just run Bitcoin Core and then use Sparrow Wallet, it will connect directly to your full node. ๐
Never been a better time to start to use and learn p2p exchanges, they'll be our vital lifeline during this crackdown and (seemingly) coming financial crisis. This list will be personal recommendations, not meant to be exhaustive.
## General Resources
https://bitcoiner.guide/nokyconly/
## Centralized p2p exchanges
These exchanges are centralized in nature but facilitate p2p trades and don't require KYC.
- a personal favorite of mine, have used heavily and is run by excellent cypherpunks
- https://docs.robosats.com/read/en/
- An excellent option for buying sats straight to a Lightning wallet
- Only use it over Tor!
## Decentralized exchanges
These exchanges are decentralized in nature and don't rely on a central website or server.
- As exchanges are done on-chain they can get very pricy in high fee environments
## Tips
- face to face cash or cash by mail are most private, but come with more potential risk. Be smart, choose public places in the day time, etc.
- USPS Money Orders can be purchased entirely with cash, usually the best remote option as far as privacy is concerned
- if you use Zelle/Cash App/etc., don't include any payment or trade info in the comments field etc.
A couple that I've heard good things about but haven't used personally so I didn't want to add them to the main post:
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Of course! Always happy to answer any questions ๐

Still coming along, have heard they're very close to being feature complete and ready for mainnet.

Not sure I want it tbh.
The metadata about who trades with who, when would be entirely public, even if trade details are encrypted. Could be interesting as purely an order book where you have ephemeral keys for each trade and never re-use!
I think I convinced myself I do want it while writing this ๐
