I was there. They also sold heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and a host of other, more esoteric drugs. The audience for Marijuana is greater than the audience for heroin, and the other hard drugs. So it makes sense that Marijuana would be the biggest seller. But you can't just look at Marijuana in a bubble. You have to also consider the other drugs that were sold, often in bulk. I mean, there's no question he was trafficking narcotics. That's just a fact.
I shopped on SR multiple times. It was a convenient way to obtain some of the more rare substances that weren't readily available in person. I was surprised that nothing really comparable sprung up in its place. There were a few different wannabes, but none with the reliability of SR.
Yeah, but he wasn't charged with mere possession. It's dishonest to conflate possession with trafficking. He was convicted of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to traffic narcotics. I don't have any problem with him being released, but I think we have to draw a clear line between possession a trafficking.
Snowden left under his own free will. And he's settled in Russia so I'm not sure he'd want to come back. He probably has ties with his local community, friends, relationship, etc.
No. They were proceeds from illegal transactions. The seizure of fund is seperate from criminal culpability of the person running the operation.
If a drug dealer gets caught selling drugs, and proceeds of his illegal endeavors were seized, he wouldn't get those illegal proceeds back if he was found not guilty, which is equivalent to a pardon. Those funds are the the lawful property of the United States.
Trump responded by telling her to pull his finger.
Up yours you ignorant hack. Why don't you stick to environmental law and leave medicine to the doctors with relevant education and expertise. Your views are objective horseshit and you WILL end up killing people. If you had any integrity, you'd quit.
Riiiiiiiight... 🙄
I'm a big fan of beef tallow. I remember feeling like my life was over when McDonalds announced they were getting rid of tallow in favor of vegetable oil. I was crushed. Few things in this world are better than a piping-hot batch of fries cooked in tallow. I got a Steak & Shake new my house that I've never gone to, but I'm going on for some fries once they get it going.
It's a hardware signer on an NFC card. You just assign your wallet key to the Tapsigner, and you'll be required to tap it on your phone to sign your send transactions. It basically moves the key to the card. It's very similar to other hardware wallets, but the configuration is done in your wallet app, and there's no interactivity other than tapping it when you're sending a transaction. And it's only $20 so you can get a few of them for signing multi-sig transactions.
Wow... This badass, Chinese, electric hypercar has a great trick up its sleeve.
When you're driving a car like this, you're going to encounter police stop-sticks. It just comes with the territory. And you don't want your fun stifled by the jerks in blue. You also don't want your very expensive tires to get shredded.
This car can leap over those sticks! How awesome is that??
My new Tapsigner arrived today. It took a long ass time to get here, but it's now in my hands and that's all that matters. I think Coinkite should hire some more people to process orders because it took them two weeks to actually ship it. I don't mind transit time, but sitting there waiting for them to actually acknowledge your order and put it in the mail is infuriating. But yeah, Tapsigner!
Ember is good. I've been making sure to hit the button each day. And I play the tournaments and started playing some of the games, too. It's a good way to earn a few extra sats each day.
Yeah, and it's inconvenient. It takes time to seek out Bitcoin merchants, and maybe longer to actually travel to their store. And I've found that bitcoin merchants often have higher prices than fiat stores. I don't want pay higher prices and travel longer distances just to buy with Bitcoin. Maybe some other maxxis are into that, but not me.
I spend bitcoin if whoever I'm buying from accepts bitcoin, but I don't go out of my way to spend bitcoin.
Zap, Zap, Zap ⚡
What does the fact that he's been to Israel and Auschwitz have to do with anything? That sounds awfully like a racist claiming he's not racist because he's got a black friend.
I think he knew exactly what he was doing. He's an apartheid supporting, Afrikaner nationalist, a movement aligned with Nazi ideology. He's definitely aware of the Nazi salute. And doing it at such a prominent event, I believe, provides a glimpse at what he thinks the next four years are going to be about.
That sounds like early to mid 40s 🤔
