Anyone know of a client that has a built in PDF reader ? no need to leave the client same thing as we already have with media formats but for books n stuff maybe .PDF and/or .EPUB
if not does this need to be a NIP or can it just be as easy as clients choose how to show this format to their users from a UI/UX standpoint

I'm not sure if there are any apps with an integrated, native PDF reader. I think everything I've seen calls your external reader. But I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully, someone else knows better than me and can share that info.
At this time, does it make sense to create a Taproot wallet? Or is it best to stick with Native Segwit until Taproot compatibility is more prolific? #asknostr #musings
You've been cranking out jerky since your sister gave you that dehydrator! It looks really cool. I'd be making jerky and dried fruit nonstop if I had that thing. 🤠
They make 2TB MicroSD cards. It's 2TB on medium that's the size of a fingernail. It's crazy how much advancement there's been in storage density.
Maybe, but what have you seen that makes you believe they'll behave responsibly? Whenever politicians are involved, honest, responsible behavior is highly unlikely. There's too much desire and capability for self-dealing and corruption. And the consequences of irresponsable behavior regarding Bitcoin, even once, would be catastrophic. Personally, I wouldn't want to take the chance that this would be the one time everyone behaved responsibly.
This is true. I believe CP is one of the very few exceptions to the general opposition to censorship. The question is, how do you do it surgically so that other, acceptable content doesn't get caught up in the net?
That's an incredible number of shitcoins. 🤯
It's not really easy to remove CP on Nostr. Maybe just easier than on Mastodon.
Yeah, I just took a look and it seems they don't support Amber, which is really odd. I was sure they supported it, but I guess I was misremembering the login. I don't use Primal. I use Amethyst, which definitely does support Amber. Personally, I think it's a superior nostr client, but Primal definitely has a sizable user base so I guess a lot of people do like it. 🤷♂️
I don't think I like the idea of America, or any other government having a Bitcoin reserve. With the amount of bitcoin they'll be able to acquire, they'll have the ability to impact prices on a whim, and ultimately hold sway over the entire Bitcoin network. This will set the stage for strategic pice manipulation, which will destabilize the market and reduce confidence in Bitcoin. I'm no expert in governmental finances, but that's what it looks like to me.
I'm almost 100% sure Primal works with Amber. Make sure you use it instead of giving Primal your Nostr nsec.
That's why. There is a Chrome version of the extension, but for whatever reason, Chrome and Chromium variants on Android do not support extensions. Only the desktop version does. If you want to use extensions on Android, you have to install Firefox, or a Firefox-based browser as they fully support extensions. I recommend Mull, Fennec, or Ice Raven. They're optimized, privacy enhanced, and security-hardened versions of Firefox that are significantly better than basic Firefox. Once you do, installing Nos2x is as easy as going into the Extensions Manager, accessible from the main menu, installing the Nos2x extension, and then setting it up with your nostr nsec.
Do you use Ember? If not, you should really check it out!
What is Ember? Ember is a platform that awards you free sats every hour of the day, every day of the week! You just have to go into the app once a day and tap a button that sets you up for sats over the next 24 hours!
How much do I get? Well, for starters you'll get about 150 sats per day just for launching the app and tapping a button. It takes 2 seconds. But there's more! Ember awards you sats for playing games, completing tasks, and winning tournaments. I've been using Ember for the past week, and I've earned a little over 3200 sats. And just this evening, I won a tournament that awarded me 5200 sats, bringing my current total to a bit over 8500 sats! There are tournaments that cost some sats to enter, but there are several free tournaments you can enter every day. You basically pick 3-4 shitcoins that you think are going to appreciate the most over the next 24 hours. I was winning 50-100 sats on most tournaments, coming in 50-75th place. But today I won first place and received that 5200 sats!
Ember is a no brainer. It's free sats every day for doing nothing, with the opportunity to win a lot more sats by playing games and tournaments!
Start collecting sats right now by installing the Ember app using my link. If you do, we'll both be awarded some bonus sats! Let's GOOOOOOOO!

Very exciting! The hash output of the GT is truly impressive. It's like getting to output of two ASIC chips with the energy consumption of one! I had my eye on the very attractive Bitaxe Touch, but I may just hold out for the power of the Bitaxe GT!
As others have said, Amber. But you can also add the Nos2x extension to your Firefox-based browser. I like using Nos2x for authenticating on websites while I use Amber with apps. It's good to have both because not every Nostr website supports Amber. Many just support NIP-07 (extension authentication). But Amber is definitely a must-have for all your Nostr clients and other apps.
I don't even know what you're talking about.
You can read over their documentation which is comprehensive before taking the plunge. Rizful was designed to be an educational platform so they did a good job of explaining everything in their documents.
But you're using Alby?
Both Alby and Rizful are very easy, taking only a minute or two to start the node. And the documentation walks new users through the process from start to finish. And both are web-based, requiring no hardware or configuration.
There's no question I have enough sats to zap. I linked my Lightning node directly to Amethyst via NWC so I'm pulling straight from the source!
Me neither. I just tap the lightning bolt of the person I want to zap, and it sends. I'm not sending frivolous zaps.
