Best off grid is you overbuild solar, add some batteries and a liquid propane generator. Can’t do with solar alone but if sized right you are only running your generator a handful of times a year. Maine did this with some remote cell tower locations several years ago.

If we are all part of a larger system, call it humanity or consciousness, helping each other out is helping ourselves. If we can better put see and feel the world through another persons eyes- that means our ability to help us that person(s) is much better because we understand the issues with more info, and more info is almost always better. It does not mean we need to make the feelings felt through empathy our own or have to do anything about the them, if they come in direct conflict of our own singular needs. The feelings of empathy may move you to act in a different way but your agency is still your own.

Ken do not fall in this trap. There is a strong correlation, but correlation is NOT causation. See chart from NOAA over 400k years with decent data. The real point is that there is NOT causation as some times temp leads CO2, sometimes it lags. But if you say there is no correlation id say look for better data.
The Vostok, as well as other ice core drills, have proven to me that there is a strong correlation between CO2 and temperature. Both Mudelsee and Callian et al. showed that "The sequence of events during Termination III suggests that the CO2 increase lagged Antarctic deglacial warming by 800 +/- 200 years and preceded the Northern Hemisphere deglaciation."
