It’s amazing!
Up to 31 lbs & only one large hunk left to slice out. We’ve also got our leaf lard & some ‘junk’ set aside for grinding & a future stock project.
This round is in the freezer & will likely not be touched again until Easter when we break out a rear leg for the holiday

Morning Nostriches
Took the day off of the loan mine for a homesteading project. The ram we dispatched on Monday is ready for butchering.
Our original plan was to butcher tomorrow, but the weather didn’t hold & we’ve got a warm day ahead. I’ll take pics though the day, but the real goal is to get the big cuts in the freezer & grind another day.

Yeah, she’s a Costco buyer so I have been pointing out the sales when they pop, and TBF I really think she talks silver as it is a ‘safer’ work conversation than gold. At least I really hope so

I’d say more male by far. I am female & work in finance. I’ve tried to orange pill every woman I work with & have not yet been successful. I am amazed at how many women in finance know nothing about money.
The closest I have seen in a coworker who’s interested in non traditional savings is the one girl who buys silver, she thinks I’m insane. I’ll retire before her.
