I've been unironically living with 128kbps down this week because I ran outta hotspot data and im being throttled 🫡

Technically the file storage system is the only thing on that list that would have any sort of privacy/security concerns, as I think you probably keep the keys to both your nostr and your bitcoin stuff off the nodes and relays anyways

In theory an NAS should just be a private nostr relay, a bitcoin node, and a file storage syncing service with version history

Individual app backends should not be needed if we create the frontends to use Nostr and Bitcoin properly.

Etar, but with nostr calendar events and contacts

InnerTune, but with nostr playlists, liked songs lists

Standard Notes but with nostr notes

Organic Maps, with Nostr saved places

Newpipe with Nostr subscription lists and playlists

Obtainium with Nostr App lists and Configurations

Just NOSTRize it all so we can do the 12 words in our brain to recover our whole life thing

I have 51 apps I use in Obtainium. How do I tie my obtainium list into this?

IMO, eff that. Shitcoiners should be shunned. The longer we go without them the less normal people will be affected by their scams

You should fork Innertune to make our liked songs, playlists, and now playing social stuff connect to our nostr profiles 🤯

Reminder: nostatus allows you to update your status on nostr and browse the status updates from your friends.

I'd probably drop YouTube Music in a heartbeat if nostr:npub1q9pehypl9gg8u9ry305eg35amzm9t2r3r9f820p2sem3ffgn23hqj0vcqf launched Nostr status updates as a beta/experiment to update your status to the music you're currently playing automatically. I've been a Google Music / Google Play Music / YouTube Music user since 2011. But, I want to support who's supporting Nostr.

nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg already does this.

I use innertune... it's YouTube music but without the subscription through a FOSS wrapper

The sheer amount of work I will do to avoid another subscription is probably unfathomable to the average person lol. This month I got rid of my home ISP ($110)

I've been using mobile hotspot data instead

I literally goto places with free internet to download dozens of Steam games to my Steam Deck, then bring it home and transfer them peer to peer on a local router.

Exactly like this. Would also be an amazing benefit to not have your social media profiles crawled and stored indefinitely to be used against you. The downside to it on twitter and Facebook is they always keep a copy even if it's private to the rest of us.

There are probably a few ways it could work, but it'd be nice for notes to be completely encrypted for anyone who isn't an approved follower or mutally followed.

Is anyone working on Private profiles for Nostr?

Sounds exactly like the twitter hacker kid when they interviewed him. Basically groomed as a social engineer in discord and Minecraft groups. Crazy.
