I’m having a friendly war game with my IT department.
I got approved to try mining at work for educational purposes.
My IT buddy says he thinks he can 100% block my mining. So far he blocked all the mining sites on the work firewall which didn’t stop the miner. Then recently he blocked ports which did interfere with mining.
Since then I tried to connect the bitaxe to a hotspot to bypass the network but that didn’t work and felt like cheating.
My next attempt will be bringing in a Wi-Fi router, set it up as an AP with VPN tunneling.

I need a way load a vpn on bitaxe or maybe proxy to a mining pool.
Ocean.xyz and most other mining sites are blocked by the firewall which didn’t stop the miner, but now I think they’re blocking ports.
An easy workaround might be to create a hotspot on my phone and have it connect to that as it’s Wi-Fi.
