I feel nostr is a home for #monero heads too. Don't be put off my the focus of #bitcoin devs and lightning integration on this protocol/platform. The early days of bootstrapping nostr is open to all regardless of which digital money you believe in. Nostr belongs to noderunners in general.

Odell the voice of reason.

Only things mobile devices are good for are imo are short form comms like signal and simpleX, taking photos, listening to RHR and getting directions in the car. CalyxOS got me covered on all these counts. As a result, my device is usually in my bag as I don't get my stare on at all these days.

That's pretty much freedom tech right?

Trading Places?

I was one of those initially. Went from loving Monero to being very skeptical when the tail emmission kicked in to now understanding it fully and back on board. It really was a lack of knowledge and having been bitcoin heavy focused for so long. When you think like a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Took me a while to come to my own conclusion that to me bitcoin is SoV and Monero MoE.

Mullvad and Silent Link. That's a decent start.

DNMs all the way after that.

Gift cards for meatspace commerce.

Totally agree. Seems taking the middle ground is the toughest opinion to take as you get called a heretic by both sides. Doesn't matter if you've been stacking for years or spending picos since Sigaint started promoting #XMR, the class of 21-23 wants your head on a stick. Without each other, both BTC and XMR don't make it imo.

Every Bitcoiner who I know IRL use #XMR.

Had no idea we were as advanced in that regard. How does this work? Do you show your green card to your dealer and he claims the cost back from HMRC? 🤣

Worst thing is even if she withdraws the claim a year from now, I remain fucked financially.

She owns zero bitcoin though so she's fucked at end game. That's my perspective.

Try 100% in the UK. Had a small dink at 4mph (literally rolled in neutral in to a Range Rover in a carpark) and the driver's wife who is a lawyer is taking it all the way with whiplash claim. Even my insurance company told me they'll fight it and win... but still increased my yearly fee 100%.

True! It's got staying power for sure. Recently watched e01 s01 with my son who is now old enough to understand the concepts and it blew his mind. He's now got a heap of new viewing experiences that will give him the "wtf!?" feeling 😬

Really? I felt the latest series struggled to come up with original ideas and was too predictable. First few series in compart were a mind bender at the time and felt cutting edge.

Needs to swap out BCH for XMR and they're on the right path.
