The average internet user doesn't care about decentralization. I feel like a lot of them would, it they knew the benefits. Gotta explain it to em in clear, concise language.
No one once said they agreed with the laws. Sounds like you guys want a safe space where no one points out when you're wrong
If you can't discern information from searching the internet I don't know how to help you

The specific law is the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title iii. Websites and applications must be accessible.
I don't whatsoever if you think that way but it's important to recognize that your opinion does not change the laws around accessibility
It's an ADA thing. Inaccessible web content means that people with disabilities are denied equal access to information.
Not sure what you mean by "private app" - the general public is able to use any of the nostr clients, so they are not private by any means
Web and mobile app accessibility lawsuits are most definitely a thing and are at an all time high..look into it
I could never be a professional musician, simply because I get bored playing/listening to the same genre for too long. Last month, sludge and black metal every day. This month, outlaw country.
Recently got a comfy union job as a database admin at a public university. Best call ever. Now I have the time and energy to work on what I want to, instead of building out shitty web3 products
Sounds great! Love the droning guitar style
Hell yeah, thanks for asking, the replies are helpful. I play banjo and guitar. I've always wanted to build some kind of app that allows for genre exploration.
I'm here because it's refreshing to see people talking about the technical aspects of bitcoin and nostr. If people want to see other stuff, they can just not follow bitcoin people?
I think everyone is well aware that discovery is probably the weakest aspect of nostr clients in general, once that gets figured out this will be a non issue
Same incentive as likes but more meaningful to the recipient, right?
What kind of specs you running?
Got any ideas of where to find a decent Raspberry Pi for less than $100? I'm not having any luck
Any tips regarding where to find things to work on/build? I was working in web3 but it really pushed me toward bitcoin. I'm having a hard time figuring out what kinds of applications can be/need to be built with bitcoin
