This is a note complaining about people complaining about people talking about Bitcoin on nostr. π
(Not actually complaining as I absolutely agree with the sentiment! Ready to move on and live in a Bitcoin world where we don't really need to talk about Bitcoin and can focus on being productive.)

I'm sure I'm not the only one putting these pieces together...Are recent actions by Russia, China, and Iran tipping the playbook for BRICS?
Is 2025 going to become a nation state sats race? Could this start wars over sats? π€
If BRICS countries start building out infrastructure to mine their own sats instead of sell that energy we've got interesting times ahead. Bitcoin mining could become bass load for the oil market?
Fresh thoughts. Need fleshing out.
The real question is, with complete control of the federal government, why aren't the republicans talking about passing a bill to 'fix'/abolish the fed?
Church of Satoshi sounds like a great project to open source.
I've been thinking for a while now that a Bitcoin message needs to be molded with the mission to have it played in churches and religious gatherings and to release it open source for bitcoiners to present to their elders at church for consideration. Even if it isn't played in church the message can be shared online.
Making hay in the late 19th century.
The most shocking thing this picture brings to light is how many people the countryside used to be able to support and the value of community. Our rural communities sure are shrinking.
Having grown up "in town" and moving to a rural community, the community aspect of rural living is significantly stronger than anything you'll find in the city and suburbs in my experience. People are never 'too busy' to lend a hand.

Sorry couldn't not do that.
Depending upon your definition of sync, the self hosted password managers can usually handle files and such. Just drop backups of your browser bookmarks into your password manager that is cross platform capable. Or instead of bookmark backup files use simple text files?
It's a thin piece of card paper about 2 inches by 6 inches. It's compatible with most platforms. Yeah it has folds and creases from heavy use too and provides full access to where ever you've left off before the cat puked, the dog shit himself, and the kid started coloring on the wall. π
Wish I knew enough to help troubleshoot but Iβd just be asking a bunch of dumb questions and going around in circles right now.
I know nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm has a good support site. And you can also open up a live chat with support.
Yeah I suspect it's just a login issue based on your experience. I'm guessing my email is not my getalby lightning address π€·
Thanks π
Herding the sheep with you and nostr:nprofile1qqs9ccktnl7c4fcfrvyemxqfgs5a9gj8q8hm0h4ed3wt36xl0dpf7ygpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd3skueqpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejscg0f2u is kind of when this interest started. π π
Starting habits is the hard part. You might be able to find running groups, set reminders for yourself, assign yourself consequences for skipping running days, post results for public accountability, get a running mentor/partner. Running with a friend or group is significantly more enjoyable.
Good to know. Everytime I tried to login to Alby it failed, so I want sure if it was a different (custodial) account.
I'd suggest starting by running circles around sheep.
Funny, but the point is, mix it up. I ran cross country in high school. Do countryside runs, sprint intervals on a track, parks, trails, establish a goal to run in a race not worried about time unless you wanna be. Stretch before and after always. Push through the first mile pain and the rest gets easier.
Yes I like this idea better. They are designed with the extra mass. The tank of dielectric fluid becomes the range cook top. π
The other idea I just had would be to use a regular pot that's mostly submerged in the warm/hot medium being heated by the miner. This would actually mimic how crock pots function.
Maybe a food safe stainless steel or copper container with a silicon seal? Something like that would probably be at risk of exploding unless there's a pressure release vent I'd assume.
I'm not super familiar with the cooking method, but gather the food is in direct contact with plastic during cooking temps... Which is a no go in my wife's kitchen.
I suspect silicon will be one of those things decades from now that's found to not be as safe as the claims make it seem.
(I'm not saying don't do this, I don't care what other people do, but considering scientific research is finding micro plastics in our blood, muscle tissues, including heart, and more it's not something I'd recommend personally. We only get one body. Health over wealth.)
If mining heat could be concentrated it would open up so much more potential.
Could and should are two different things here. Plenty of other convenient cooking methods to use to avoid the micro plastics.
Until miners can condense heat output to a heating element cooking with miners is kinda limiting.
A miner heated insulated box to subsidize the heat from a crock pot perhaps?
I see nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4 ties in to most Podcast 2.0 apps. Do you fix this π or are those solutions that I see also custodial?
