Thanks for the reply. I've just had a read of the website. I think if I was a merchant wanting to take bitcoin payments and I had to pay more than the current debit or credit cards I just wouldn't bother.

I would expect the lightning payments to be almost free. That would be much better. It's a shame.

I've been talking to my local butcher about this for a while. Takes ages to explain it all. If I then told him the fees would be higher I know what he'd say.

It's over 20p kWh where I live. There is no way you can mine here without going bankrupt

Tariffs are always paid by the consumer in some way. Either reduced quality or higher prices.

I had a zap on #olas but I can't find it anywhere. It didn't go to my lightning wallet and I can't see it in the default wallet in #olas.

What am I missing?

I was stopped at which mint to choose. Didn't get any further than that
