Social media consciousness. As if fed by the forms of the previous experience (ie. legacy social media platforms), a kind of criteria grows along the forms of the experience at hand
The question `How the world (protocols) and behaviors (user errands) should be in-around this novel experience (nostr and so)?', usually is clearer to solve after noticing a deception in the previous forms of a similar kind of experience (censorship, spamming, etc)
My two sats bet are with the commons of the sense of place (the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genius_loci) as the lecture of the world/person one gets as short (and so forth) as one peeks a view of the self or someone else's profile (feed, compilation of notes, picture reel, etc.). So for example, one can notice the atmosphere and significance at nostr:npub1f5pre6wl6ad87vr4hr5wppqq30sh58m4p33mthnjreh03qadcajs7gwt3z profile that offers a lecture that confirms both his style (continental forest inhabitant, for say so), as well as his *place-in-the-world* (the social) ; a change in the looks of this profile would suggest a change in the person as well (as if he would start posting about camels and the life in the desert).
In short: post. Note and other stuff. From time to time go look back and get feedback; if unfamiliar, a sweep here-and-there could help the looks.

Coming back to this (and some other notes), 10 days plus after their posting, is a cool 'workflow' wen nostring. 🤓

It's not clear the phenomenological stand of the subject that's struggling the otherness, in this scenario you mention. Either A) the subject is aware of other's agency and bounds a stance about it; or, B) the subject is unaware and then their individuality boundaries are drawn 'freely' by other's agency. Note that B could at any point turn into A.
> ``and at some point I give in, exhausted, and start accepting the changes so that my edited thoughts might still be heard while my original ones die in the darkness''
That's unlikely for A, specially for bitcoin plebs, in which case they're more likely to chose either to agree, to fight (and not lose, bitcoiners never lose), to meh, or to turn off the thing. B would had no struggle essentially, as his boundaries are built-in already; subject could even be happier that way, however this state of things usually can't last longer, so for individuality never fully disappears.

90s revival but this time with the ways for proper enjoying it
Not sure if motivational but a thought it came to me while being half asleep (sleep paralysis aka lucid dreams)

There's indeed a kind of vibe for each one of social media environments there's available out there on the internet, Ye. What you describes sounds already 'so twatter'; even so that here in nostr you came to find the hugs you know for sure you were about to find as in their correct place of being.
~2010 models are to computers what ~2000s models are to cars
Todays crap can't compete with Autocad '08 nor the good ol' Honda Civic '98
That'd match the definition of 'habitus', not the repetition or say, le quotidian, of an act (either a hobby or an addiction) but rather, the drives (or context if one says so) that firstly had lead towards 'doing something' and later on, its criticism (or looking back to, noticing)
What's left is what to do with such criticism, in the case of doom-scrolling, Nostr itself seems like a good effort on handling the experience
Criticism of value, I'd claim, and it'd be a 'it is what it is' kind of question...
Afaik, blueskies and mastodons call out Nostr echoes tones, each since the comfort of their own chambers. Maybe it was ought to happen in terms of generational experiences of the internet.
