I think I have a near 0 chance of discovering users on #bitchat... Interesting question if it will ever pass outside of bitcoin events.

Woke doesn't exist they say, yet I keep seeing male characters replaced by women or white characters replace by black everywhere. I have yet to see the reverse. The latest #Foundation, I don't much like the change as a long time Assimov fan

It makes perfect sense. When you live of what you steal from others, whoever opposes your legalized theft is your enemy. Margret Tatcher once said that the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money, that was very accurate

Nostr clients like amethyst transmit a user agent identifying themselves if I am not mistaken. So nostr inherently doesn't prevent detection

Not by default AFAIK, most clients send their user agent. Maybe your clients do fix that.

Anyone seen the Russian #Wechat, Max? https://max.ru/ that is why they recently started aggressively blocking all the others including #WhatsApp bit also nostr:npub1gsunl7x2y8ka4rn72y9zmzh0j8ntw8ln3956dxe4vg2mldpt4svsuzfy6l

Most criminals use iOS and Android, not GrapheneOS. The portion of criminals in our userbase is likely smaller than Android. The state making extraordinarily claims has not provided evidence.

None of this is surprising with the EU launching it's campaign to ban encryption. Everything that allows is any privacy must be criminalized

I have heard from credible sources that criminals also use oxygen. Hence oxygen users should be looked upon with suspicion

Hi nostr:npub1exv22uulqnmlluszc4yk92jhs2e5ajcs6mu3t00a6avzjcalj9csm7d828 team,

First off, thank you for building such a privacy-focused platform—it's really appreciated. šŸ«‚

I wanted to ask if there's currently a way to reduce or disable image compression when sending photos. On my Android, I’ve found that I can send higher-quality images by sending them as files—though this has to be done one by one. However, I’d really like the ability to send multiple photos at once without heavy compression, ideally through the regular photo-sending method.

On my iPhone, sending as a file doesn’t seem to be available at all.

The compression is so strong that you can’t even make out a person’s face in a photo.

Is there any current or planned feature that could help with this? Even a toggle to choose compression level when sending media would be a huge help.

Thanks again for all your work! šŸ’œ

I think that is only the preview. It was soms time ago bit we could send high quality images. Xftp servers certainly allow it

On my testphone yes. So far it works fine but it's nearly impossible to see a difference with 15

We disagree (putting money in the hands of greedy bureaucrats is like handing a blowtorch to a toddler). But at the very least your primary home shouldn't be taxed. If you have to pay someone for the privilege of living there, you don't really own it)

If you could arrest all politicians that are in them you could fit the remaining into the original mini and still take a family of 4 with you

If we sold a lot of devices, we could then use the money from that to fund the next generation device in 2-3 years and/or to extend the support time longer. We could start with 5 years of support and extend it up to 7 if we sold enough or got enough donations.

I'm in when you launch

I predicted that the EU was a totalitarian project early on. People still seem unaware. Crazy.
