Yeah youre right on that one, thats actually what go me angry before writing it 🫣

The older i get the more angry i get. Wish it wasnt true.

You are going to drink that damn wine, regardless of the fact that you dont have a corkscrew

Jeeze, give em a chance. Why did you remove your music? Your choice obviously, its your music,

I just dont see how thats helping.

Apprecaite ypur openess about the issue you're seeing regardless, its a fair point.

Personally the thrill for me with any kind of music discovey is in the virtual "crate digging". I will continue to mostly ignore the leaderboards so if people want to zap themeselves thats fine 🤣. Its finding the gems while listenting to a radio type feature, or someone recommending a track in my feed. Bring back music blogs on nostr 😍

Introducing nsec.app and nostr-login!

I've shown the prototype of https://nsec.app in December, and it's essentially an nsecbunker in your browser. It is non-custodial - your keys are stored locally in the browser, and apps can get access to your keys using NIP46. We've now turned that prototype into a real thing, and I invite you to try it. Shoutout to nostr:npub149p5act9a5qm9p47elp8w8h3wpwn2d7s2xecw2ygnrxqp4wgsklq9g722q for the designs!

Now how do we help Nostr apps adopt NIP46 for remote key access?

That's where nostr-login library comes in. If your app uses NIP07 to talk to a browser extension, then with just two lines of code you can make it talk over NIP46.

Both of these tools support the new OAuth-like flow proposed by Pablo. Below you can watch a demo of how nostr-login (added to my fork of Snort) works with Nsec.app (or would work with any other nsecbunker).

What this all means is that people could join Nostr on the web, without installing extensions or mobile apps, with their keys stored non-custodially in the Nsec.app, and then could log in to other Nostr apps without copying their private keys.

You absolute legend 🤝

Lol!! Yes, in the day. Used to be a dark mode maxi, then one day i .... saw the light

Urge to stick my pinky in was always pretty strong 🫣

Yep, I see where you're coming from.

But I guess the thinking is that the transaction is not directly linked to a Bitcoin purchase like it would be if you're buying from an exchange - its just person to person transaction.

You can try Nostore from the App Store, works from Safari on iOS

You’re gonna have to funnel that through the board members first

I did a half marathon on the concept2 earlier this year. Dude, my lower back 🤣. Maybe I’ll try a marathon next year 😮‍💨

👶 “Waaa waaa I can’t make as much money on Nostr and value for value for my articles so I’ll keep posting X and wait for Nostr people to do all the hard work”

I get it, but at least fucking help by posting here first (Habla) and then cross posting to X. Stop making excuses.

How is this stuff going to get fixed if even some of the smartest people keep being a cuck to Elon for the previous ad money.

I sit in a few Telegram groups for various projects… people are so rude it blows my mind. Demanding bugs be fixed, complaining - it’s insane how entitled people are 🤣

Good question, I think we’re all still trying to figure that out, which is the exciting part.

People do tend to use hash tags, like #grownostr

Also people are starting to build tools like https://nostr.kiwi which is kinda Reddit-like

Damn, made a good dent in those cakes!
