The idea of Bluetooth mesh is very cool

People don't talk enough about how annoying the Swedish healthcare system is.

Always praised by healthy people who barely use it. Then you know some old people who are in need of care and you realize it's a part time job needed to help them navigate and get the care they need.

Fighting for getting their care organized, delivered and on time. Seeking the kind of doctors that actually help and prescribe what's needed rather than stalling. They're budgeting you so you might get delayed treatments that turn preventable diseases into deadly ones.

This happened to three people I know by now. And they sadly passed away.

All that's just on the really sick end. If on average healthy young person end...

Well, often when seeking medical advice it also says something like "do this, but also ask your doctor." Who? I don't have a doctor, never had. We basically don't get frequent medical checkups like the Americans get.

And if it's something, we sort of always do home treatments. Seeking out the public healthcare, ehhh rather not. It's qued and annoying to spend time on plus you'll likely get some garbage advice at the other end or something you already knew you needed.

The care that works is the Emergency care, and the chronic disease help. All else is just a mess and I personally stay away from seeking it out as it is so annoying.

And having seen grand parents etc. fare badly in the system I always think; gulp. I rather not be sick in Sweden.

One day I'll move away of start paying for my own private Healthcare insurance. It's getting more and more popular here, because it's just a better experience. And no the public system is not in need of more money, it needs better management. Because that's the problem.

So. That's my rant. To many healthy people praise it, not enough sick people have time writing about it. I just lost a relative in this system; I felt obliged to at least rant some.

Let them rest in peace.

Let Swedish healthcare improve some day, letting more private options in or some other pressure on management improvement would be great.

Current problem is that the app freezes in the first seconds that the "there's a new upgrade available" card jumps in.

If I'm fast I can click the settings amd enter. But there's not enough time to send funds or get the recovery seed.

My current bet is to wait for the next version in google play I think, as that would update the app and not trigger the new-update card.

Can't really do anything until the update reaches google play.

Also a bit wondering about what to do with the "wallet backup" as there's no input for it what I can find in the app on the other phone.

it happens, especially online, haha

wish you a good week ^^

"I can't write to write this in html and share it on the internet." Was totally reasonable and common to say in the 90's & early 2000's.

Then the protocol level was abstracted away for the user into frontends the average user identified with: MySpace, Twitter, Reddit, etc.

The protocol level of nostr can totally be abstracted away into both existing services as well as new ones. As a matter of fact there are already multiple services where I'd argue it already happened.

looks pretty clean. Where's the animation layered in?

A benefit the nostr eco system has seem to be that the developers actually use their own products.

What most ai chats are missing is a setting that hard codes:

*clock type, 24h or AM/PM

*Units, metric or imperial

*Formatting, use of , or . + date formats

Letting users do this themselves in one place outside of asking for it in chat form, would be a huge UX boost.

Seems like stacker news got some databreach. I just got spam on the emailadress I only used for their login.

Could we tell how much a cashu token contains before processing it? Like if denied, is the cashutoken still available for the relay that accepts the note?

it seems like amethyst & 0xchat both have it as they cross talk using the "amethyst-igocnito-type" messages.

Im curious what the consesus is now og how well they work.

How good is the incognito dm messages in Amethyst & 0xChat these days?

Just letting each user account add an npub if they want; and have the current proton mail checks begin veryfying this.

It could set a new standard if done as open source as possible.

Combining forces of PGP & nostr signatures, for security and easy ID verification check!

I feel it may be more urgent spreading nostr networks in the UK than China, to be honest. #freespeech

People send messages when they zap; those would be nice to be able to reply to from time to time xD
