1 lb 80% lean, preferably grass fed

Form 4 large meat balls

Set out for 30 min

With 10 mins remaining, put skillet in grill, heat to at least 400F, cover closed

Season top of meat balls generously with Redmond real salt, fresh ground black pepper, garlic powder

Press meat balls on skillet into patties, seasoned side down, season tops

4 mins or until juices form on top, cover open

Flip patties, put chunk of pepper Jack on each

4 mins, lid closed (to help melt cheese)

Remove, douse with cholula hot sauce, enjoy

This is my OMAD almost everyday, never disappoints #carnivore #foodstr

Oh, and when you first press/smash them onto the skillet, hold them for 12-15 seconds to get that nice sear

Just get a $50 charcoal grill. You will make better burgers than whatever turd this $1,000 machine will do.

Burgers also only need coarse salt and fresh cracked pepper. If you need more than that then you have low quality beef. Get high quality 70/30 beef and you'll have the best burgers ever.

Preformed patties are not your friend! Something strange happens to the muscle fibers in the grind when they're forced into that shape and frozen. They end up chewy and not so nice to eat.

A fresh ground mix of 80/20 hand formed with salt (more than you might think is reasonable) and pepper is a great foundation to build from.
