Bullet proof coffee’s great. It was especially helpful when first starting to intermittent fast. Got me through the morning without eating anything else.
I wish I could have it right now. But I believe it would break the type of fast we’re doing. I’m doing a long fast with nostr:npub175hdheqn0arfdgywe9n2rze5eaf0j2mlz0xp5kq30vy57jqsncdqy2tpe9 and I still have 53 hours left.
He does it similarly but with raw egg. I still haven’t tried that one yet. 👀
It would definitely break the fast.
I’ll have to try it with raw egg next time I make it. Usually, I just drink it black.

Bulletproof coffee was inspired by Yak Butter Tea that people in the Himalayas have been drinking for thousands of years. I've been drinking bulletproof coffee, with grassfed butter for a few years now during the mornings and stay satiated until 1 or 2pm. It's the ultimate time saver and energizer. Plus provides good fat and A&K vitamins.

I did bulletproof too for a bit.. it’s good but raw egg coffee is better imo

Oh, I just posted it elsewhere. Here you go -
Double espresso and I put some raw honey in the espresso glass before I pull the shot so it warms it up. Pour the shot and honey in a blender. Add one egg. Mix for like 20-30 seconds, you’ll see it change consistency.
Pour over ice.. stir…drink
You can add some milk or condensed milk or condensed coconut milk if you want to sweeten it.. some cultures do that. I only do that if it’s a dessert coffee.

Is this a meal replacement with the butter ? I thought bullet proof coffee was just a brand from a health focused guy. That’s the right way to have it ?
Gm! Bulletproof coffee is coffee with grass fed butter. It’s a great way to start the morning. High in fat and vitamins A & K. It also keeps you satiated until afternoon so it’s perfect for anyone that does intermittent fasting.

I’ve heard of ghee but haven’t tried it. Seems to have a ton of health and medicinal benefits and is used a lot in eastern cooking and healing. I’m not opposed to it. I’d try it for sure.

Yes, it would definitely break the fast. I’m not drinking this now, we still have 52 hours left. 
72 hours fast wow! Is it business as usual (training, work etc..) or you take it easy ?
yes for the most part, but I’m pretty good at listening to my body. I’ll ease up if need be.
Himalayan sea salt in water with lemon is huge during a longer fast. It prevents fasting headaches. My favorite time of a fast is around the 30-40 hour mark when you enter a state of cognitive euphoria and everything becomes crystal clear. It’s like your mind opens up and you’re in a state of complete zen. The hardest part for most people is getting past the 24 hours away from food dependency.

I used to do 18 hour fast with a 6 hour eating window. But when I augmented the training volume, I figured it was a good idea to start having breakfast since I used to train fasted

I’m more of a freebird. I listen to my body before any structured set of rules or guidelines and wing stuff until I figure out what works for me.
To me the exercise is important. Pushing my body while fasting is necessary. Using the elevated levels of hgh that you get during a fast rather than letting them pass by.
