That’s right. And one can’t separate “mental health” from physical health
Add to that 7-8 hours of sleep, adequate exercise, sunshine, fresh air, purpose, and relationships and you have a solid foundation for a healthy life
And sex. Lots of healthy sex.
Yes 💪
Parsley and garlic to make a bit of chimichuri. 😎
Last time I ate meat was 1985 💪
You must be at least 60 years old.
What made you do that? There was much less data on the topic, than today.
I don't think most of the meat that is available today (or in 1985) is healthy or ethical. Maybe if I had been brought up on meat that had been hunted or animals that lived in pastures and not factory farms I'd feel differently. I remember thinking that most meat was unhealthy and so I decided to stop eating it. The last meat I ate was a lamb dinner on Easter Sunday 1985. I do eat dairy and eggs but I am picky about them and where they come from.
I recommend this book if you prefer data.

That looks exactly like what I eat. I even buy whole flaxseeds and grind them in my kitchen blender. I also make kefir which is loaded with probiotics.
Add bananas, avocado’s, honey, blueberries, açai, fish, cucumbers, broccoli sprouts, broccoli, mangoes, paw paw, Moreton Bay Bugs (seafood creature), lobster, mussels, mushrooms, fennel, basil and parsley.
I’d agreed here. All good things there.
Missing raw dairy, fruit, honey, and juice.
But by all means go carb free and end up accelerating your aging, lose muscle mass, and go bald.

Interesting. Do you think the people who are measurably healthiest follow this diet or does this just feel good to you? I'd be curious to understand what facts you bring to the table when making a claim like this, especially being a medical doctor...
6. Milk
If you just eat what is in the Bible you'll be fine. That includes meat, non-meat, Fish, and as always... Ask for the Lord in Jesus name to bless the food. Blessed food is much more nutritious.
all I'm hearing right now is drink more wine 😆
The Bible definitely has a lot of wine drinking. It also has this:
1 Pe 5:8 KJV Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Regarding food is important to ask for a blessing and regarding wine it's important to not be a drunk.
How did you know my diet, Doc. 😁🙏🏽
if butter is on the list, what about other dairy? milk, cheese?
ghee is good. Its pure butter fat. The milk solids and water have been separated and removed.
Yo 🫡
King Henry VIII (1491-1547) – Died at 55: Henry VIII is famous for his love of roasted meats, particularly beef and game. Accounts describe him as consuming enormous quantities. He became obese and suffered from edema (swelling) and likely had metabolic syndrome. He suffered strokes and leg ulcers in his later years.
Pope Leo X (1475-1521) – Died at 46: Known for lavish feasts and consuming large amounts of meat and rich foods. He suffered from kidney disease in his later years.
John Ritter (1948-2003) – Died at 57: John Ritter’s death was initially attributed to a heart attack, but the autopsy revealed an aortic dissection. He was reportedly fit and active, but some reports suggested he followed a high-protein, low-carb diet. Aortic dissections can be linked to hypertension, and some speculate a high-protein diet could potentially contribute.
Young Athletes on Keto (Several Cases - 2017-Present): There have been a few reported cases (primarily in online forums and news reports) of young, otherwise healthy athletes who died suddenly while following a ketogenic diet. While the exact cause of death is often not publicly disclosed, some speculate that electrolyte imbalances (sodium, potassium, magnesium) during keto adaptation could have contributed. It's crucial to note that these are not confirmed cases and often lack detailed medical information.
If I couldn't eat fruits and vegetables in my regular diet id kill myself
The food must be so delicious, that it is really worth paying for it with years of your life.
Who am I to judge?
Don’t get me wrong. I love all the food listed here.
6. Beer
Dietary staples 🏋️
Mineral, mineral stone😉
Yes. This is the way. Never felt better in my entire life.
Find it impossible to say at this point what diet to follow. There are studies pro and contra everything
And coffee too ?
I posted a note yesterday or the day before asking who on Nostr thinks Dr. Jack Kruse is right or on the right track with all his Light and Health stuff. No replies. What think Ye, Dr. Ross?

Hmmm...says Grok:
Yes, it’s possible to survive on a diet of only red meat, eggs, butter, water, and salt—often called a carnivore diet—but there are significant considerations. This diet provides ample protein, fats, and certain micronutrients like iron, zinc, and B12, which can sustain basic bodily functions for extended periods. Some people, like those following strict carnivore protocols, report thriving on it, claiming benefits like reduced inflammation or improved energy.
However, it lacks fiber, vitamin C, and other nutrients found in plants, which could lead to deficiencies over time, such as scurvy or gut health issues. Long-term risks are understudied, and medical consensus warns of potential heart disease from high saturated fat and cholesterol intake, though some argue this is overstated. Individual responses vary—genetics, activity level, and pre-existing conditions play a role.
Historical examples, like Arctic explorers surviving on meat-heavy diets, suggest short-term feasibility, but they often supplemented with other foods when available. Consult a doctor before trying, as nutrient imbalances can be serious. If you want, I can search for recent studies or anecdotes on X about carnivore diets to provide more context.

Pretty much my diet.
