The sea creatures in it are pretty cool! They ride sea robin inspired creatures (I think) which is awesome

Personal opinion, it is so much better than the first one. Can actually remember the characters, way more emotional in a good way. And the action is cool too. Plus it loooks soooo good. For what it is, it’s a good movie.

That movie was another milestone - there are moments in it where your mouth just drops open at what you are seeing. The line between CGI and live footage is no longer possible to discern. Sure, the plot is a bit hokey, and three and a half hours of blue people running about isn’t for everyone, but like the Abyss, T2, Titanic and Avatar it takes cinema in new and interesting directions and raises the bar on what is possible. James Cameron is a trailblazer, and I loved it. It was a spectacular cinematic experience.
PS IMAX 3D is the way to experience it.

Meh. John Wick 4 is something I will actually go see.
It's 99% pro nature and anti civilization, although it does leave the 1% of the other perspective in (e.g. that 1 minute of an actually dangerous animal), unlike Star Wars episode 8, which goes all the way woke.

Avatar is overrated and overhyped. The only good that came from it was 3D, and even that couldn’t last the distance.

I find sequels to generally be disappointing. In books and movies.
It is literally the First movie all over again (+ family drama) LOLOL
Had to comment further I feel so strongly about this. L O L. But the sequel to gone with the wind was horrendous. So dumb!! My philosophy is you don’t mess with a classic.
I loved it, saw it in theatres 4 times. For me it wasn't about the plot but that experience, being in the moment, the 3D and visual effects and the soundtrack! Did you watch it in home? It was a most watch in the movie theatre 3D IMAX/Dolby. I also just got done watching John Wick 4 🔥
About 1 hour too long.
