I’m Jason. I was a full time caricature artist at Disney World for several years although I prefer painting landscapes in oil paint. I lived in Taiwan for over ten years and speak mandarin. Currently I have a regular job in Florida as a mailman though I would like to sell more paintings for bitcoin.
Not new by any means but I've been inactive for close to a year now. Decided to return due to the unprecedented attacks on privacy and free speech.
I previously left because I was discouraged by KYC keeping me from BTC and XMR, and I legitimately got hate for that... I also got sick of the nonstop libertarian posts. But I've decided to ignore the hate and politics going forward and just come back to talk about security, privacy, decentralized tech, etc.

I understand the feeling. As a libertarian who was interested in Bitcoin and still learning and saw some legitimate use cases for other crypto projects, I got a lot of harsh rebukes a couple years ago here on nostr. I was an anarcho-capitalist of all things, very much the kind of person who should fit in. You get blunt conversation here, it's just part of the culture. But you can form your own culture in your mutual follows for one thing, and for two, which you are doing now, you can just not take it harshly. It's usually not meant as hate. It's just how we present constrictive criticism here: blunt and straightforward. You get used to it eventually and realize the vibe is actually super friendly once you understand the lingo.
So today I'm a hardcore bitcoiner and still an anarcho-capitalist (even more steadfastly than ever before as I've continued to learn), and just like everyone else here I'm a blunt asshole. I always have been really. But I see value in everyone and I reach out to hear alternate perspectives often. I will readily give my critiques and tell you how stupid you're being, but I do listen and I do value the multiplicity and diversity of human action and of each person's various competencies.
You get tough love here, at least in my corner of nostr. Everyone's social web is unique though. I hear Japanese nostr knows how to party hard across the Pacific.
You can't be an anarcho capitalist these terms are mutually exclusive.
It's no different to saying you're an anarcho fascist.
It's a nonsense statement.
But understand you went to school in USA and you were taught to use words like that intentionally because it makes it impossible for anyone to discuss politics

I may not be new, but I might as well do an #introduction myself for those who don't know me very well, or for those who just stumbled upon here.
The name's Nëïgsëndöïg Cöcülës (IPA:'nig-sɛn̩-dɔɪg 'kʰo-kʰju-ʊɫs), and I'm a content creator (what we call a vibe emanator here on #nostr) who also does music production, creative writing, numerology, TTRPG searching, AI shenanigans (roleplay and Stable Diffusion), and gaming. All of it is done, however, using GNU/Linux operating systems (I rock CachyOS right now) and Free Software philosophy compliant software.
On my YouTube channels CoculesNation and [at]Neigsendoig, I primarily focus on gaming and alternative technology for CN, and for my secondary channel, I focus on music production, hosting a podcast (called The Nëïgsëndöïg Cöcülës Show, hosted on YouTube and Wavlake), as well as audio work tutorials on there too.
As for my third channel, Cocules Reddit Readings, I narrated two videos where I just read Reddit stories (using RedLib and Eddrit as the frontends, because no durr), but nowadays, the narration is being handled by nostr:nprofile1qqspsxwjy4edm65k53xplljqqn88hurqyzmtkgsfcseteq35zkz2exg22ftyy (who introduced himself when he first joined), the former editor for CoculesNation. We have ourselves a decent posting schedule due to bad internet speeds where we both reside.
As a numerologist, I know that numbers are the script of life, as we actually are communicated to using numbers sometimes. Now, what these mean are to the eyes of the beholder, but I see numbers sometimes in what I do, especially since I study that type of stuff.
As a gamer, I tend to focus on FPS games, rhythm games, fighting games, wrestling games (WWE 2K19 and WWE SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain to name a couple), but I'll play almost whatever as long as it isn't predatory.
For content creation in general, I use Obsidian Markdown Editor... a lot.
I don't want to get into it too much, though, so I'll leave it at that.
Picking back on #nostr after a year or so being off of all social media, yet with censorship on the rise wanted to create valuable content here for a #bitcoin audience.
