It should be something really specific, to distinguish from all the usual beeps...because you're getting money.
But at the same time gentle enough so that it doesn't start annoying you.
This leads me to nature sounds. I'm drawn towards fire as it's not as piercing as electricity sounds.

I’m using lightning tip bot as my receiving wallet so it already has mitigations because of telegram. I just set a custom notification for that thread in telegram.

If telegram is the open active app it will only play the in-app notification sound. Not sure if that can be customized. Did you try it with telegram closed?

A 1-second sound with one amplitude per sat. I.e. a 21 sat zap gives a very low hum, an 4369 sat zap outputs a high pitched beep. No samples required and rough amount immediately clear.

It would be like ear piercing high pitch. But once it gets to 10M zap ⚡️ it would be silent 🤫 like a dog whistle, so high pitched lol
Zaps will likely get smaller over time. We could also have a frequency limit and increase the duration of the sound, once the limit is reached.

Für größere Mengen sats (ab einem Schwellenwert) könnte man dann den sound eines elektrischen Funkens vergrößern.
Den sound von Elektrizität bzw. elektrischer Funken finde ich auf jeden Fall passend, da er implizit die Energieeigenschaft (Arbeit, Zeit, Leistung) von bitcoin bzw. lightning unterstreicht. Ich zappe dich => ich lade dich auf.
