Fuck that seems even harder!!!

I dont know what to tell you man. I was doing 12 reps maybe 13 with the 30lbs so I went up to 40lbs
What the fuck. I feel like you're Thor then lol.
😂
What's your best lift?
Standing overhead press with 50lbs dumbbells. Both arms at the same time. Never tried a 1 rep max but I feel it would be higher than 50
That's fair, having shit Overhead is a matter of safety.
If you open raise 40s how are you pressing 50s!?!
Hopefully we can workout sometime after the bitcoin revolution
I feel like I would not go past 25lbs for myself
I haven’t done lateral raises in a long time, I am going to test my self just to see.
It does really feel like John McCain right now though 😂
I would not attempt 40’s to start
Alternating 12 reps is 6 each side. Class was programmed in a way that this was definitely a harder one
Ok I will attempt
💪💪💪
I did it with 30’s
40’s seemed to be too much. Gives me a goal.
💪💪
I have to try all your mace Viking stuff. That’s gonna be a challenge
Fun as long as you don’t hit yourself with it. I grazed my back one time with the mace I had a nasty bruise. 😂
Oh wow! I remember the video you showed last week of the mace with stick doing Viking lunges. Imagine hitting yourself with that. In the knee or something 😂
😂 you do not want to do that. it is difficult to hit yourself but not impossible.
That would be extremely painful. And would probably heal weird 😂
There is one exercise where you use the mace to strengthen your aikido throws you have to move your head out of the way to perform correctly. I could only imagine if you got yourself
Started to feel some discomfort while doing it with 40s. Reverted to 30s. I lasted 3 weeks lol. Don’t want to injure myself
Don’t want to mess up the shoulders. It can set back everything. It makes every day a leg day. 😂
As soon as I felt the discomfort, it was time to take a step back. No need for injuries. Ego lifting is dumb.
Everyday a leg day is extreme 🤣🤣
True!
I have been guilty of ego lifting many times.
Especially, in the beginning when I was inexperienced. What’s interesting is that you get more progress from less weight, something your body can handle at that time
Yes. A weight you can handle properly is far superior to a weight you can barely manage.
And in the end why are we really doing this, to feel better and be more prepared for the future.
Longevity is the goal. Yes
👍 don’t want to injure yourself practicing injury prevention 😂
Would be ironic 😂
That’s why I don’t get the appeal for CrossFit, as a way to get in shape I mean. I have friends that practice it. I mean, they’re well rounded athletes but they also have injuries most of the time. Wrist, back, the list goes on
It has the most pectoral tears. It really is a shit method of training. My mantra is stimulant don’t annihilate
Love watching the competitions at a pro level. But totally agree. For fitness goals, it makes no sense
