π₯Άπ₯Άπ₯Ά Whyyyyyyy is it 30 degrees?? Whyyyyy does the weather say it feels like 19 degrees?? I was wearing shorts last week. The wind was brutal this morning, my sinuses still hurt from the cold air. I know it's winter, and I know these temps aren't bad for some people, but I'm freezing and it's making me just a little crazy ππ₯Άπ«. #thisweathersucks #atleastthesunisout #amidoingthisrightrupertdamnit #texasisntsupposedtobethiscold #funwithhashtags #butytho

#Butytho ππ€£ I love it when the joke is in the tags. Sending warmth π₯π₯
Much appreciated π«π₯. Always read the tags and the comments for the gold.

I always loved to see screenshots from Tumblr where people would write THE FUNNIEST SHIT in the tags.

In February, the climate is cold.
At least it is over here on the east coast.
It's usually cool here, 60s-70s by now. We occasionally get a cold front into the 40s maybe 30s at night, not the 20s π. I'm just bitching, mostly...ππ€·ββοΈ. It just makes me not want to do anything and also appreciate the legit cold weather having folks because I think I'd go insane.
I wish I can offer you a hot cup of choco, Yarny. π«β€οΈβπ«
I haven't had a hot chocolate in like 20 years. I might need to do something about that.
It is time, John. βπ«
What's your go-to recipe and do I have to order chocolate that touched four continents before it's in my mug?
π Well, first things first, no Swiss Miss shit because that's from Wisconsin.
In my chocolat chaud recipe, theres..
500 ml whole milk, 120ml full fat cream, 120g dark chocolate, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, sugar (to taste), pinch of salt.
I'm addicted to cream. This is going to get wild.
This sounds like it will warm you right up...I should get the ingredients...also I should have whined about being cold earlier in the winter...πππ
btw, that recipe is good for two. one for you and the cheesey INTJ in your life. π
My wife loves hot chocolate.
I've actually yet to meet anyone who doesnt. Yea, so far no.
This has been my experience with making homemade pasta sauce for non-italians. The first time you have homemade red sauce when you lived on Ragu, it's a game changer.
Speaking of nostr:nprofile1q9n8wumn8ghj7enfd36x2u3wdehhxarj9emkjmn99ah8qatzx9e85eeexeax5ctkvashgumcx43ksvnkwe68zdrpw3shgmrex4e8verhw9nk5upsw468sae5x4ax27nwweuhzenyddu8veflvfex7ctyvdshxapaw3e82egpz4mhxue69uhks6tnwshxummnw3ezumrpdejqqgy6pcsy8ta2q44p9w9muaavfsccts8zh3rtz24vzkrgj9zry0qw8stecenh did you ever try those recipes I gave you?

Agree π―
I can say the same for pizza dough and pie crusts. Idk, it's just better than store bought stuff.
My goal is to be my grandpa and make shit the right way forever. Everytime I look at my son I think wow I wish he got to meet him, he looks a lot like that side of my family. I came out like a pastey toehead because of my dad's strong genes. But my son looks like a real sicilian
Bread has been the big one here. Sourdough bread π€π€€.
chocolate mousse tho, that's another thing , yecch... it starts with cacao powder and then it takes the wrong turn left
Ok so here's what you do:
You heat up a cup of milk on medium-low on the stove. Let it take it's time.
In a mug, you mix 2 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp cocoa powder until it's smooth. When the milk is steaming, pour in a little and combine it completely with your cocoa paste. Then stir in the rest of the milk.
Thank me later.
Ok, Ill do this. I need a good cocoa powder first so that I can make it memorable. Any recommendations? I'd prefer one that has been observed by extra dimensional beings.
I use this stuff from Whole Foods. And there's a honey farm out on colonial south of Oviedo that has great local honey.
Yes you should. π
Much appreciated π«. Warm thoughts are always welcome!
Aww. Sending you warmthπ« do you have a heated blanket? I got one this year and now I canβt live without it
I don't, I always think about it when they're sold out. My sister got a heated vest and I wish I'd ordered one when she told me about it π. It's making me crabby βΉοΈ
Because G-d loves us and any temperature over 70 is inhuman and an indication we shouldnβt live there.
No π‘
π€£π€£π€£
If we were meant to live in this climate we would have fur.
Some peoples are hairier than others, friend.
I'm not the hairy variety βΉοΈ
Here its -12 today and will be 60 by the end of the week
This sounds awful. Stay warm!! And then stay cool π€£π«
