I'm torn about signing this.
I want these men free, but is appealing to the state actually helping? Aren't we just validating their "authority" by asking?
I don't know much about this so forgive me if this take sounds stupid.
It does look like there was some quid-pro-quo here, but politicians are usually criminals anyway.
And to me it seems like CZ was charged with bullshit charges, so I'm glad he's free.
Pills won't cure your ills.
Manufactured drama.
Memes can fix anything :-D
I wrote the following piece for nostr:npub1t8a7uumfmam38kal4xaakzyjccht4y5jxfs4cmlj0p768pxtwu8skh56yu months back:
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/takes/bitcoiners-should-care-about-the-genius-act
In it, I stated that the GENIUS Act could very well usher in more KYC/AML for digital assets, including bitcoin.
Turns out I was onto something…

We all knew this crap would come.
Just have to build around it like Nostr builds around social media censorship.
With a quality wallet like Sparrow on an airgapped computer.
I wouldn't use any of them for cold storage.
Use a non-computerized method like stamping your seed into metal.
And be sure to have off site copies.
How loud is that?
Is it the "snacking" behavior that's the problem, or what we snack on?
I'm currently doing BBBE, but still snack on Bacon, sausage, sugar free jerky, etc..
It's working well for me.
What's brave is to follow the principled narratives/causes, whether it's the state that's supporting them, or an alternative.
Blindly joining the "fuck the state" crowd can be just as cowardly as supporting the state.
