"Nice" people lie constantly because they are too cowardly to say what is true. It is possible to be honest & to be kind about it, but it is impossible to control how someone will react, and how someone reacts is their responsibility, not yours. Having proper personal boundaries means understanding that the truth will inevitably offend someone. But the only sustainable way for people to relate to each other is through reality. I think this is what is meant by "God must be the center of every relationship." People who deal in truth & reality can resolve conflicts, those who do not can never have any real common ground—they are lost in a realm of delusion, & will be plagued by arbitrary whims & unresolvable paranoia.

Data has been "the new oil" for large tech companies for a while. They're getting rich building massive data models on using data that people freely provide to them in exchange for their services. Open protocols allow users to take back control and puts users in charge of their data. Nostr allows us to all be in charge of our own social graph. This is why I'm so bullish on Nostr. It's game changing.

Nostr has been unusable for me today on desktop, with the exception of NostrGram. I need to cleanup relays and get them down to a solid 12. I will be removing more today. Thus far, I have removed nostr.bitcoiner.social, nostr-verified.wellorder.net, and nostr-pub.wellorder.net. If you can still see this, good! I am going to be removing nostr.drss.io and nostr.zebedee.cloud next. If you want to continue to see my posts make sure we have a shared relay. I recently added nostr.milou.lol and eden.nostr.land. Both of these are paid relays.
