I live my life in accordance with the 4 Agreements: - be impeccable with your word - make no assumptions - take nothing personally - always do your best I'm a sovereign soul choosing unconditional love over fear. 💚

Lol I've been running a VPN for so long that I just figured this is what the internet was like now.

Reddit is the only site I've found that's completely inaccessible to me. Fuck Reddit.

Privacy isn't a crime.

Or revolution.

Revolution could be good but I think we're mostly asleep.

I planted over 100 cassava cuttings today.

I don't think I'm going to starve.

Yeah the PoW required to get to one certainly weeds out most of the Bitcoin tourists.

They're high signal & totally worth your time

The local meetups can be a crap shoot but if you can find a good one theiy're awesome in between Bush bashes.

Qld - we have a strong community in the South East & there's also a strong Sydney & Melbourne group.

You really want to get across to Beechworth (Vic) in March for the next Bitcoin Bush Bash.

Man - Aussie Bitcoiners tend to keep a low profile. We don't want our movement passports flagged if we happen to want to cross the border. 😂

I've heard there's a crypto flavour to the big meetup in Adelaide but there's a couple of solid Bitcoiners over there. They're a bit quieter about their meet-up but I'm not sure if they still meet.

If you're going to give unconditionally you'd better be prepared to receive unconditionally.

Thank you for caving!

That's hilarious

Because a lady never wants to be caught out in public with dry lips. 😂

Yeah I've been using it for a couple of years & I appreciate the corrections.

I have a little OCD & there's nothing worse than smashing out a 🔥 note with a big fat typo in it.

You should never change the intent of the original note though. Just fix mistakes that should never have been published. Nostr has taught me to be careful with both my words & my typing of them.

On the whole I think it's great for Nostr & those opposed to edits are just sour that they couldn't keep up with the innovations of Amethyst.

My Spidey senses.

Ever been to a Bitcoin meet-up?

When you quietly coming out bro?

Chatham House Rules are generally well respected, which is why it's such a well kept secret.

Next one is in March but the best (IMO) is in Palm Cove, July 25 & 26.

No tickets or pre announcement of attendance is required. We've had quite a few international Bitcoin 'celebs' but we don't post pics or name drop.

I could list them but I won't.

Where are you located man?

We have a massively active Bitcoin community in Oz although we mostly keep it pretty quiet on socials.

Yeah - never really loved lamb leg until in tried it that way.

The meat just falls off the thigh bone.

There's really only 1 war being fought, the war between light & darkness. This war has been fought for 200 thousand years.

It's repeated throughout our history.

Battles are won by both but the war is within each man & only ever ends when we realise that it's the darkness that makes the light so bright. Destroying darkness would destroy the light & so we must accept them both even though we have our preference.

It doesn't mean that we should stop acting towards what we prefer, it just means we can let go the fight. Darkness never wins, but it gets the upper hand when we play its games.

The strong hands who've been holding for a long time dump into market strength. They sold some of their stack as we made me ATHs.

If you did the opposite, got emotional & YOLOd in to the top then you're currently hurting a bit. We've all been there & felt that.

In terms of dips, this isn't that bad. I've held through much worse.

Now is the time you should be doubling down. When your gut is churning & everything looks like it's dying to you, that's when you buy.

The market will consolidate & them start grinding up. New ATH coming, likely before 2026 - front run it so that you don't buy the top again.

Leverage kills.

I've known for some time that the work I was doing largely lacked purpose. I was just a cog in a big meat grinder that seemed to produce no sausages.

It paid the mortgage, bought shiny objects & allowed me to stack enough bitcoin that I could eventually let it go.

When I stopped being a cog I realised that I lacked not only the income now but the sense of purpose. The sense of purpose was just an illusion but without that illusion I felt my sense of worth diminish.

I spent a long while moping around with these feelings. It was great that I had my time back but what was I to do? I resisted the urge to become someone else's cog & just started working on stuff to make my family's and my experience better.

What I discovered is that there's value in the doing. Men in particular find a great peace in the doing, particularly when it's to achieve a shared goal or objective. I find there's also a tremendous return in delivering even a small amount of value to others.

The secret I've found is to get excited about the work & to be in the moment while you do it. Whether others notice your work straight away is not important. The fruits of your labour generally take time to materialise but the value to you is in the actual doing. This is what they took from us when they tricked us into thinking consumption was the objective. Working through pain & discomfort also makes us physically & mentally stronger. Our skills develop & we become less reliant on those who want to be our master.

Nah

Beliefs that reflect the true nature of reality win everytime.

When your beliefs are aligned, you don't need discipline. Your thoughts, emotions & actions all work in harmony with each other. The discipline isn't required to overcome any internal resistance because there isn't any.

I feel grateful to have had my midlife crisis at 28 but I'll feel much better when I reach 57. 😂

I'd achieved 90% of what I thought was important to me & I felt more sad, alone, confused & insignificant than I ever had.

I figure I've got another decade to find the true meaning to my existence & then I can relax.

All I know is that it's that it's not found in the material, in money, women & fancy cars. It's found in connection, in purposeful action & appreciation of the beauty of what we already have.

Are you quite remote?

Everything changes when you get out of the cities.

The judgement, the story we tell ourselves after we make an observation is what causes us so much suffering.

Once you observe this storytelling in yourself, you see it everywhere.

Let it go. Deny no thing. Then act towards what it is that you prefer.

Fasting triggers your body to do all sorts of shit. I'm open to experiencing it.

I think there's a lot of truth to what doesn't kill you makes you stronger in relation to acute stresses.

A 7 day water fast is hard. A 7 day dry fast sounds like torture.

Never done it but when I'm sick, I naturally lose my appetite.

I usually eat within a 6-8 hr window, so it's usually easy to just extend it however long it takes to overcome.

I'd imagine this would be quite a stress (not necessarily negatively) to your body. I'll give it a watch 👍🙏
