What a great visual summary of the past 150 years of human development š

I like Doomberg but he/they zealously retweet too many cynical haters.
If Les MisƩrables was real life, Doomberg would be retweeting and every obsessive claim of Javert in the pursuit of Jean Valjean.
We went from shutting down the economy to save lives due to a virus, to shutting down the economy to save the dollar due to the inflationary effects of the prior shutdown of the economy.
The cherry on top is that economic stagnation is statistically shown to increase mortality rates. š¤¦āāļø
Client developers should be free to push whatever agenda they wish!
OK, Iām being slightly facetious. In reality youāll get transparency because if youāre not getting it, youāll move to a client that provides it.
Lots of previously skeptical finance guys watching though. They will be the first to spread the news, perhaps a little grudgingly š
Days since forgetting that compile errors in Rust are often due to un-enabled features in dependency declarations: 0 š©
That doesnāt sound so bad. I wouldnāt mind if Damus (to pick one client) had that view.
The current āFor Youā tab in Twitter is a hellscape. Fortunately, algorithms are only really scary/concerning in a centralized platform IMO. The natural competition between clients should keep everyone focused on pleasing the user base.

In that world, what do you think the state-issued currency will be used for? Taxes, and paying government employees and contracts I suppose?

Something Iāve noticed on an animal protein and fat based diet: the feedback loop with respect to feeling full seems to work much more efficiently than on a carb-heavy diet. You donāt feel the need to overeat.
I eat like you do, and Iām convinced that this is the best way to eat - in the absence of complete knowledge about the body and how food interacts with it, eat like our ancestors did (which includes not eating too much) and be done with it.
That said, I do accept that some people on a low-inflammation vegetable ā-based diet seem to achieve similar results to you. Not that Iād recommend it however.
Zaps over 10000 sats get the heavy vibration. Less than 1k just get a little tickle.
Is the idea that the app would occasionally lqunch in the background, fetch metadata from the notification relay + update app badge count/fire local notifications accordingly?
