Agree about Palestine
For food: I haven't found a way to eat that doesn't involve death of animals. My choice is just whether to encourage ethical practices (and ecological health) or unethical ones.
Do you have a way of eating that doesn't involve killing animals? (genuine question; I have heard of some vegan permaculture folks who do manage to grow a nice portion of their calories, but it's not easy)
You've been so patient! I really have to start to play around with AI images đ
Unfortunately, the bunnies would be in shreds because of that combine, and the birds and other wildlife would be long gone.
You could have live bunnies and birds (and insects, and reptiles) in the cow pic, though. Regenerative livestock farmers find that they have more and more wildlife coming back to their farms each year.
I'm not but have family nearby. Lots of stories of homes burned to the ground đą
Can someone give me a short version of what this means for a pleb miner?
I know that if I don't join a pool, solo mining odds are very low - but by home mining I would be helping to secure the network. Is that about right?
Ha! very funny
i meant the animals killed by combines and spraying
wow
Thanks, Guy. I haven't read this but it's been on my list for a while.
Once you start seeing the world and policy in terms of incentives, none of this should be at all surprising (and yet - as you said - it's hard not to be shocked).
Aaron Siri's done some good interviews recently for anyone who's curious but not yet ready to buy a book.
I got it a few weeks ago đ
Wow. that looks like a very large and fossilized version of our mud wasp nests. (Not saying that's what it actually is! That's just what comes to mind for me.)

Do you have similar pics for grains and beans?
The tough thing is that animals are killed in crop agriculture too. We're just removed from it so we think it's not happening.
When animals are killed as livestock, you can make sure it's humane (not that it always is, but it can be). When they're killed by combines and spraying, it's brutal.
Obsidian is terrific.
I use it for everything planning perennial plantings to work files to tracking interesting themes or diving down rabbit holes.
