He's a Russian soldier in Ukraine. It's highly likely that he's a volunteer who signed up for the massive pay given to Russian volunteers (it's illegal under Russian law to send conscripts to Ukraine itself, and this law is followed with rare exceptions).

Ultimately he was trying to murder the Ukrainian soldiers who are in turn keeping me and everyone else in Kyiv safe.

Fuck him. It's a good thing he's dead. Given the opportunity I would have no qualms killing him myself.

Russia personally inconvenienced me earlier today when I had to close my laptop and quickly finish my sushi because the central Kyiv mall I was in had to suddenly close due to an air raid alert. Incoming ballistic missiles.

Obviously, I'm quite happy to see Russian soldiers killed and their infrastructure burn. As is any sane person, fed or not.

Fuck those murderous scumbags.

Two particularly impressive Ukrainian operations I found videos of lately.

A very nicely done FPV ambush against a group of Russian soldiers:

...and an attack against a Russian fuel train – allegedly with long range drones – timed just right to destroy it in the middle of the central train station in Salsk, Russia:

Obviously, taking out the train station as well is a great use of all that fuel; 380km from the front line.

😂

Nothing America has done in our lifetimes compares to what Russia is doing right now. Not even close.

With war at this scale if you're paying Russian taxes, you're meaningfully contributing to the invasion. About half the entire Russian tax budget goes to war right now.

All working Russians are valid military targets.

Kyiv subway at the start of an air raid at night – likely to be a serious one as Russia is attacking with drones, which often get used against apartment buildings. Disproportionately mothers and grandmothers with small children, though there are people of all ages. This station was pretty full of people already, as it was near a bunch of apartment buildings.

I didn't get a photo of it. But all the staff were wearing ballistic vests. A very good idea as Russia has repeatedly attacked the entrances of subway stations.

They put out cheap little chairs for anyone who needs them:

Hot-or-Not clone made from the leaked Tea photos. 😂

It's no secret that I'm in Kyiv right now. That restaurant doesn't reveal anything interesting. The fact I have friends who I have dinner with is to be expected.

Nintendo DS as bill holder at a restaurant. 😂

That is exactly how international law works, for obvious reasons. Reasons I'm sure you understand. But you're most likely just an evil person who hates Jews.

Israel gets to blow up hospitals that are used by Hamas. Hospitals are only protected as long as enemy forced refrain from using them (other than treating wounded).

Israel also gets to kill Gazan children who pose a threat to their forces. Which unfortunately is anyone who is armed or otherwise performing combat duties. Hamas makes use of teen soldiers, so unsurprisingly Gazan teens get themselves shot.

As for the total amount of explosives used.... Obviously a rich country like Israel is going to use technology to avoid getting their soldiers killed. Frankly I think they should have not put any soldiers on the ground inside Gaza, and just bombed it from the air. But Israel is sacrificing a lot of men to avoid killing Gazans.

Not the same thing at all. Not even close. Which I know you know.

Russian drone operators are dropping grenades on individual Ukrainian civilians with the intention of killing them specifically. A drone operator saw that baby, moved his drone to get on target, and released the grenade with the intent of killing that baby.

Israel is unintentionally killing Gazan civilians in airstrikes on valid military targets, Hamas. Israel has every right to defeat Hamas, and the onus is on Gazan civilians who don't want to fight to leave to the designated safety zones.

Russia has _zero_ right to fight Ukraine. As evil as it is to intentionally kill that baby, every single shot fired by a Russian soldier is also evil. Russian soldiers who are somehow captured without having surrendered should be executed for attempted murder. Israel has every right to fight Hamas, a military force with the clear goal of genociding the Jewish population.

Good to see this finally getting some mass media attention. Russia's widescale hunting of Ukrainians civilians with drones is truly evil.

You have literally thousands of drone operators who have personally seen unarmed Ukrainian civilians on their camera displays, and dropped grenades on them for the express purpose of killing off a population so they can steal the land. And they know exactly what they're doing. Hell, they were disappointed when they missed – Russia uses this as a way to train new operators.

Russian culture needs to be exterminated.

Yeah, it would have been 2019.

Not easy to find again after all these years!

First person to find it gets 100,000sats! If there's more than one photo each additional one gets 25,000sats. :)

Be careful with humidifiers in winter. Depending on how your house is built, and how cold it is outside, you can end up putting enough water into your walls to ruin your house with mold. Unfortunately it's just not always possible to have humidity high enough to be optimal for humans, while having it low enough that the building doesn't get water damage.

Trump saved Khamenei's life, and the Iranian regime, by preventing Israel from simply assassinating him when they could, and coercing Israel into an idiotic ceasefire.

Now Khamenei has issued a fatwa against Trump, calling for his death.

Trump is a weak-willed loser, who might very well pay for cowardice with his life.

That's not because of surveillance. Reuters and many other sites are trying to stop their content from being scraped by AI companies.

Typically they put limits on total content downloaded per IP address. AI companies end up hitting those limits quickly. So they rent VPNs to try to get access to more.

“History is one long laundry list of how you can’t kill ideas with brute force.

What you can do is introduce better ideas.”

I've been thinking about this statement by HRF's nostr:nprofile1qqs9336p4f3sctdrtft2wlqaq5upjz9azpgylhfd3dplwf005mfrr9spzamhxue69uhkummnw3ezuendwsh8w6t69e3xj7spz3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wcq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kueg6g89xw for a few weeks. Notably, HRF as an organization is strictly "non-violent" – they're only willing to support diplomatic and educational efforts to stop tyranny. If you're using force, they want nothing to do with you.

This week Russian finally took full control of the Shevchenko Lithium Ore Field in Ukraine. Yet another in a long list of minerals resources they've stolen.

That one ore deposit is estimated to have $141 billion dollars worth of lithium in it: https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/ukraine-s-lithium-wealth-diminishes-as-key-deposits-fall-to The total value of land and resources Russia has stolen is in the trillions of dollars.

Now ask yourself, is invading Ukraine a good idea for Russian? Can you convince Russians a better idea would be not invading Ukraine?

You're not going to do it by appealing to their rational self interest: stealing trillions of dollars is incredibly profitable. You're not going to do it by appealing to their humanity: they're a nation of monsters who have no qualms murdering Ukrainians in their sleep.

What you can do is change the incentives. At the moment, Russia has stolen something like $10 trillion worth of Ukrainian resources, at a cost of about 1 million casualties. That's $10 million of loot per casualty. That's a good deal, and it's precisely why they can pay soldiers enough to convince them to volunteer. If Russian gets a ceasefire now, they've profited enormously from their invasion.

Taking that property back and killing a lot more Russians will make that a much worse deal. That's exactly what needs to happen.

As for HRF, they're no different than the "defund the police" activists who tried to get incentives replaced with "dialogue". Just like those activists, HRF is a fraudulent organization whose non-profit status should be revoked. Furthermore, their connections to Russian imperialists and controlled opposition – who are literally on their board of directors – should be investigated thoroughly by the court system.

In the meanwhile, if you want to actually help stop tyranny, donate money to one of the many Ukrainian military organizations who are defeating Russia by killing Russians more effectively. Most of them even accept Bitcoin, e.g. https://wildhornets.com/en/ and https://savelife.in.ua/en/

So you made a worthless general statement that is in fact quite wrong, and does actual harm by preventing solutions to very real conflicts going on right now that are leading to the murders of thousands of good, innocent, people.

Evil exists because it's often quite successful. It has to be defeated by violence. If not for copious amounts of violence against Russia, their invasion of Ukraine would have been extremely profitable. If not for copious amounts of violence against Iran, they'd successfully wipe out Israel and achieve their goals of Islamic supremacy.

On a smaller scale, violence is a shortcut to success. The low IQ man that steals a purse or rapes a woman is stopped by violence against him. Yet, there's no fixing the fundamental problem: he's a stupid, worthless, person who has no place is society and would never achieve the success he wants without violence.

You have to accept bad people exist and stop them.

You don't fight a war at this scale without the involvement of the entire population. A double digit percentage of Russia's entire GDP goes to the invasion, likely in the region of 20% or so. That's not that far from WW2 levels of spending.

The entire economy of Russia is a legitimate military target. And people who haven't wanted to be involved in war have had literally over a decade to leave. Millions have.

You're just making excuses to protect evil people.

Direct attack on the Chernobyl containment shield by a Russian drone.

They're just evil. Negotiations are stupid. the only goal that makes sense is exterminating them.
