Aside from payment method as you mentioned, Openrouter doesn't focus heavily on the UI of their chatbot and they focus more on selling their API to others. Our UI is much more catered to daily work than theirs and supports image and video models as well.
HUGE buzz on this new open-source + affordable advanced reasoning model. Now live on PPQ.AI
Yes, what other setup could there be? Did you think we were somehow running these models ourselves?

Openrouter is one of our backup providers. Most of the time we get direct from the source like openAI or Anthropic.
Not yet, we've been waiting for openAI to release it to us. Although not even openAI has multimodal o1 as far as I can tell.
Awesome, now I can use it for search too 😀
I was a bit disappointed when I found out that most language models (like gpt40) only have search when they are used in the original UI. I frequently write prompts mentioning "use the internet to find out", so the models must have been hallucinating in those scenarios...

We have 4o and Sonnet already. The versions you are using on ChatGPT are "multimodal", meaning that they can "call" the internet when you ask for it. We added that a while back but then regressed due to bugs. But we could probably try again soon as the tech has advanced a bit in this area.
Additionally, we have o1-preview but are still waiting for o1 and o1 pro to be made available to use via the openAI API. They have been promising that since before christmas but still nothing.

Some people run their own models which would be the most private option.
I’ve heard good things about

nostr:nprofile1qqstpl9vdc85trf5n57tl8ml22yh8c9nj0pa0dep6dq5pcupf7t4jqq22tpef I use ppq.ai , but I'm not sure if it actually has access to a search engine.
You can use [perplexica](https://github.com/ItzCrazyKns/Perplexica) for search. It is the open source version of perplexity, which is a language model on top of a search engine aggregator:
[SearXNG](https://github.com/searxng/searxng), The search engine aggregator that perplexica uses is easy to run on your local machine. It's my new favorite search tool:
We have perplexity!
Try Cline. It is very good and extremely popular. Search for it in the VS Code store and plug in your PPQ.AI API key.

Yes, it is called Cline. I used it all the time and it works well with PPQ.AI. Just search for it in the vscode store and let me know how it goes for you.

Been like this for a couple months since their big upgrade. When I search for the term "PPQ" it shows me old results, whereas when I go to nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshszynhwden5te0dehhxarjw4jjucm0d5hszynhwden5te0dehhxarjw4jjucm0d5hsz9nhwden5te0wp6hyurvv4ex2mrp0yhxxmmd9uq3vamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wfjkccte9e3k7mf0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwvajhjum9wghxvatwvshszxrhwden5te0wfjkccte9enk27tnv4ezuen4dejz7qpqwyuh3scfgzqmxn709a2fzuemps389rxnk7nfgege6s847zze3tuq887zc2 it shows most recent mentions.
