🎵Die Gedanken sind frei.

The point of chivalry is not to treat housewives like housewives. It's to treat hoes like housewives.

That is why Da Bros absolutely hate the idea. They think women should have to "earn" chivalrous behavior. That women, as a group, are not inherently worthy of it.

They miss the point, entirely, that women love chivalry, and value it, when we see it given *indescriminately*. And only then. Because that means it's innate to the man, and a reflection of his own attentiveness, sense of honor, and protective instincts. It's not just some party trick he pulls out to get laid.

I'm not looking, as much, as to whether a man who finds me attractive is kind to me. I'm watching whether he is also kind _to other women_.

All other women. And children. And the disabled. And the frail or isolated.

Also, remaining chivalrous, despite the most rabid feminists whining about it, is called Being A Man. You know what women who aren't rabid feminists don't like? Men who take their cues from rabid feminists.

Nah, don't take the bait, girl. 😂 It's just the "Bros Before Hos" crowd. Also known as the "Girls are stupid, throw rocks at them" Club.

They say this, but there's no differentiation in practice. Been dealing with this "definition" for over a decade. These guys think the only thing other men care about is sex, so if they see a man be kind to, or protective of, an attractive women, they go full meltdown.

They call everything simping because all they think about is shagging.

Their projection is too damn high.

Love both of the apps. Thank you for introducing me to #Nosotros 👥 nostr:nprofile1qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqg6waehxw309a6xsetxdaex2um59ehx7um5wgcjucm0d5q35amnwvaz7tmgv9mx2m3wv93kx6t0d3ujuum0vd5kzmqqyrhfm9u70c2p320hgu46lqkujcyz5r2z2xmhhjchpfhvajfl4hlkgqr80lm .

I like that they cover similar feature sets with different UX, as that's the thing users are most opinionated about, once you get the core social kinds implemented ( 1, 30023, 20, 24, 1222, 1068, etc.)

nostr:nprofile1qqs2js6wu9j76qdjs6lvlsnhrmchqhf4xlg9rvu89zyf3nqq6hygt0spzemhxue69uhku6t9dshxummnw3erztnrdakj7qg3waehxw309ahx7um5wgh8w6twv5hsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme03d56gx they could just have a #communikeys setting, where you enter the the key, and it adjusts all of the settings to for. That would be cool.

But, first, they need to get the core kinds rendered. #Jumble 🧩 doesn't have PMs. I think #Nosotros 👥 doesn't have yaks or freedom polls. Etc.

Nosotros sort of won me over with the public messages, it's true. I'm like 🤩

I'm PMing all day, now. 😂

Y'all know that I'm a die-hard Jumbler 🧩, but I have to admit that Nosotros 👥 (very clever name 😁, if my high school Spanish serves me right) has got that something something, kwim?

I'll be heading over here, on the regular, to take it for a spin.

* Kind 20 media gallery

It's literally the best label. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Some men are... lacking, Will. Times are hard.

I don't know. I just don't run into them, here.

Can't even recall seeing one in months.

The last one I encountered on here slid into my DMs and asked for noods. 😂

Every Nazi evah.

You know, I encounter way fewer Nazis on here, than on Twitter.

French government in freefall. Again.

Vote of confidence called.

"The conservative National Rally party, the leftist France Unbowed and the Greens all said they would vote against the Sept. 8 motion while even the Socialists - so pretty much the entire political spectrum in France - said they wouldn’t back the government."

I knooooow. When we moved to Germany, we moved our tax residence to their second home, in Texas. Same as every does. 😂

MD taxes are worse than Germany.

Maryland! 🥳

I love that it's a Catholic colony. And so gorgeous! 🤩 We lived out toward West Virginia, but we were in Annapolis a lot. Love visiting my parents there. The nature, the culture, the history. And the FOOOD!!!

It's still the only place in America, where I feel completely at home.

Just implemented it for public messages, but it should also apply to microblogs, as an option.

Also helps relays clean up, with needing to store deletion requests.

You need to relay even harder, to know zis. 😂

I'm using #Amethyst for DMs and public messages, but it sucks for reading because it seems to grab junk from all over, no matter how strict I make the relay settings.

I want Christpill, not Gooner, thx.

Why did we do this?

Why go through all of this trouble, to be more universal?

#Alexandria is a library.

I.e. it is an organized and catalogued set of informative data. Data on Nostr comes in all kinds. A library needs to be able to manage *everything*.

It can all be navigated. It can all be searched. It can all be documented and viewed. You can keep records. You can discuss. You can take notes. You can highlight important bits and scribble comments in the margins. You can export and transfer and convert and download and copy.

Every community (hosted instance) defines the scope of its set, through the definition of the community relays. Right now, that is hardcoded, but we will be working on a #communikeys solution. That's why we created the new nostr:npub1229y50ruvq9hjdxsjknh43gq4n9ef7h3h5hc4ezzrkg0q7kgg0tsv9a402 npub. That npub will list its preferred relays in the NIP-05, and that will then apply to the entire community. That npub's preferences will define the community's preferences.

Every individual member of the community can:

* expand that relay/data set, with their inboxes,

* or contract that set, by blocking particular relays (kind 10006).

That means, if your community's Alex website is taken down, you can use

* any other Alex website,

* or any website that displays publications (like the new Habla or Njump),

* or the upcoming Alex Notepad native app.

Alexandria is already the best place to meander through the events, like walking along shelves in a library, but we _still_ haven't finished the Gutenberg version. This is not even the MVP, yet.

Euler version is gonna knock everyone's socks off. And then comes Defoe. And then comes #biblestr.

And then we all faint from exhaustion. 😅

And, yes, we're going after #Obsidian.

Let's bring those notes to Nostr.

It's easy to track who is active where and when, between Nostr and BitChat and figure out who might be who. There are AIs who are designed to crunch that data.

Anon publishing is only effective, if you use it sparingly and rarely, so that you don't leave a data trail.

Aperol Spritz >>> Limoncello Spritz >>> Campari Spritz

Oh, yeah, I think they calculated that Twitter banned left-wing accounts more than right-wing ones. If I recall, correctly, it was because they were more likely to be pro-Palestine.

Yeah, but we can tweak it all to be even-betterer. Lots and lots of room to improve.

And then we add some secret-sauce. 😈

Search engines are the modern card catalog and we're a library, so...
