That's pretty cheap for that amount actually ๐
The trick is the bug cuts it when the leaf is still folded before it opens up. So it's a single hole, but when it unwraps it's multiple "same" holes.
Because majority of the users are going to be gone, so he has no one to influence.
I'm not saying they should not be allowed. They should be allowed, but at the same time this is garbage.
Am I the only one who thinks this is just filling up the chain with garbage?
The Martian was great, I haven't read Hail Mary.
The Three-Body Problem is great (I'm in the second book now).
Nostr is closer to real life than most social networks. You don't know the exact number of your friends, sometimes you like yourself...
So on a phone it will be trickier, but possible. The general idea is that you install RetroArch, then in it install DOSBox-Pure, then you install Win98 and then you install AoE2. All this can be done on Android phone. I can guide you through the details if you would really be interested.
On laptop it becomes much easier. E.g. just follow https://aoe2.arkanosis.net/linux/
Yeah, use credit card with 0% APR for the first year ๐
You were 100% sure about $300, so what happened there? ๐ Also $200 is quite unusual, because usually the people that make a mistake say either $500 or $300.
This happens when you create a really good framework that solves the problem well, but then you get bored with just maintaining it.
No one says that the person only has 800...
Yeah, that's what it implies. Would your answer change if it was a different cow?
Let's try again, but this time with something that nostr people will understand.
I bought 1 BTC at $800
I sold it at $1000 (because I'm degen)
I bought in again when 1 BTC was $1100
I sold it when 1 BTC got to $1300
How much of stupid fiat did I earn by doing this?
#Bitcoin #Math
What if it was a different cow?
I buy one for 800 and flip it for 1000.
I then buy another (bigger & better) cow for 1100 and flip it for 1300.
He already had that money. Imagine he had $5000 in the beginning. (The initial amount is irrelevant, but it helps the logic)
One thing I like to do is to debug where did the person make a mistake in their thinking. And this one is a very juicy one ๐
Some people argue that you incure loss when you BUY something, other people subtract 100 from the wrong number (the question leads to that confusion, this is a common trick), other people are confusing profit/income/earnings (these are not well defined, but are usually used in one way) and finally there are couple folks where I'm unable to debug their form of sentience.
Hey Nostr, what do you think? I think this is mildly infuriating.

Are you going to provide non-US numbers? Many apps and things are censored/blocked in the US and they use numbers as verification.
Hear you bro, sorry you had issues paying. One solution might be a Boltcard like payment with an Nfc enabled card linked yo your sats balance. Something like the guys from nostr:nprofile1qqsp7fxsmxnahv3pkqsx4pn9pqm5739sp4cy5d8gkxelex5tc9qrspspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz7qgswaehxw309ahx7um5wghx6mmd9uuh48ww did with "la wallet".
We've been playing with it, but more testing needed. La wallet seems to be open source so we might deploy some VMs for testing.
The constrain is some vendors might not have NFC enabled phones... Anyway, thank you for keeping boots on the ground and reporting :)
Or just print the QRs with wifi access ;) Sometimes the lame solutions are the best bang-for-buck ratio... ๐
Otherwise success from today from farmer's market in Uvita: All payments in just couple seconds from self custodial wallet ๐
There's a new American guy selling some pastries and empanadas and he doesn't accept, but I mentioned it to him and he didn't seem super opposed.
It has some people behind it that have been successful in the past, but not at this scope. Imo there's a potential, 5% chance for major success.
The fact that its bitcoin adjacent could be a big benefit in terms of getting the word out.
The marketing is too good at this point, so that's a red flag in my opinion.
