It was centered around a huge geyser enclosed in a gargantuan basalt tube. I had a massive canvas, taller than me, completely covered in black and was showing it to everyone. Actually, I held a workshop at some point on how it was done... everyone was painting black over other well-known canvases. The paradox was that, in the end, that devalued my own black painting. I distinctively remember the price drop ding. Somehow we were also for a moment on a plane with super cheap furniture that was falling apart, and I was disputing the damages. Outside, there was an Orthodox church on the shore of a lake. We weren’t in Russia, but in Finland maybe or somewhere up north. Then the head of It from work messaged me, asking if we have anyone on Nostr. It was mostly about my best friend and me, but his fiancé and my wife appeared briefly later.

It is the individuality. If my simulations and I could share one consciousness, it would be a no-brainer. Then I guess even the existence of a physical body or the number of instances wouldn't matter. I have a problem with a simulation that exists completely independently of me. How would I treat my simulation if I don't know how it feels? Do we still have the same motivations? I wouldn't want to be exploited, and I wouldn't wish that on my clone.
