My political views, for practical purposes, are generally democratic socialist. I’d prefer to go a lot further than that but it’s just not realistic. I support some supposed “right wing” policy though, like enforcing immigration laws and opposing trans stuff as it relates to minors.

Migration is one of the most natural and instinctual things that humans do. It’s a constant in human history. There’s nothing inherently wrong with it. But nations should limit it to a pace that doesn’t upset the majority in order to avoid the authoritarian responses to too much immigration.

Nothing is 100% safe for all people. But it’s like 99.9% and vaccines have saved innumerable lives. Thanks to vaccine skeptics now we are seeing measles again and soon enough we may see polio. It’ll take much suffering to undo the damage inflicted by anti vaxxers.

Rationalizing and tacitly supporting views of white supremacists isn’t really something that seems like a good idea to me. Young men have totally valid complaints about the state of the world right now but turning to racism is how we get into even bigger problems.
I’m white, but my daughter is mixed race and my wife is an immigrant. Neither of them should be seen as a threat or a scapegoat for current problems.
Hearing grown ass men start to whine about seeing minorities in their kids’ schools 🤮 do better.
I’m going to trust actual climate scientists on this subject 🤷♂️
