I keep waking up around 3am everyday and ready to rock.

No coffee after about noon

No alcohol

No weed

No meds

Nada

I am getting older so maybe hormones ?

I’m kinda ok with it because I’m super creative but I don’t think my body wants this cycle for the long-term.

Before blaming your own body, maybe it’s something else entirely 😅

There could be external reasons for waking up. There are phone apps for detecting snoring and other noises. Maybe a neighbor makes a noice around that time at night?

I want the superpower of 8 hours of sleep - only getting 5-6 - don’t know if it’s enough but feeling good - just concerned

Light entrains to the environment, regulates hormones, and controls circadian cycles.

For what it’s worth (hormonal issues are different, obvs) I’m in roughly the same boat. To bed at 9ish pm and up by 4am (typically the latest). I’ve tried pushing bedtime back and then I keep waking up early and am zonked. So, I’ve tried to settle into it as my new cycle/ritual. I make 4-6am “my time”, which is typically where I workout and, occasionally, get some work/planning done. Then the rest of the day is cat has catch can. Not sure if any of that is helpful. I guess it’s a sign of getting older ? I meditate and chant and pray for about 60-90 minutes every morning - it’s just so early instead of 5-6:30 I have been tuning in more which is nice. Feeling more safe and connected to God and all of my guides and angels. Pretty awesome

this is my situation too. i love the early mornings. but then it requires a nap later which is hard if you're a coffee drinker.

youtube tells me it's a great time to activate the "pineal gland" with meditation...

i have no idea. prior to a few months ago, i was worried about the closet door mirrors and entities coming through them so I started a Windex ritual for the mirrors.

i've kinda made a pact with Jesus, so i have stronger stuff against spirit entities coming thru the mirror.

but now i need to put cleaning on my to do list because i'm not scared into it anymore.

i think the issue of cleaning, cats are the best teachers

if you can't think of anything "fun" or "important" to do, sweep something, wipe something down, put something in the washing machine, mop a damp bathroom floor

you watch cats and they are always sitting there, their eyes go into spaced out, and then on comes the cleaning program

Dropping something in washer now 😄

Asleep easily just can’t sleep past about 6 hours? Maybe I don’t need more ?

If that’s enough for you, then that’s fine

If not, it wouldn’t hurt to limit artificial light at night, since you can try it for free

Also getting outside first thing in the morning to get some sunlight on your eyes can greatly benefit your circadian rhythm

try to wake up at 2:30 ...

or you could do effect it is you're putting off doing (just a guess)

Just wake yourself an hour or 45 min or so before 3am and go back to sleep. Your body should sleep though the 3 am wake up. Hopefully, after a couple days, you just start sleeping through the night.
