Restrictions won’t stop at search. Same will come for posting. Same for following.

Soon it won’t only be for VPN use. Twitter will move to verify your identity & social credentials before many app actions. People will be forced to adopt alternatives. Livelihoods will depend on it. Truth will depend on it. You will depend on it.

Likely because the bots are using the IP range for spam? I have sympathy for the engineers cuz they must be having a really hard time with bot farms.

I try to block bot accounts (usually generic Asian girls) every day from following my profile on Twitter. I swear someone is trying to track profiles with them. Full of retweets, generic photos and quotes. It's annoying.
