W/ respect the two seem not mutually exclusive? When some entrepreneur creates a “nostr_phone” that has only 3 functions - node running (whatever variety the caller speaks of), Damus app and a lightening wallet (?) with whatever operating system and connectivity that knowledgeable privacy experts here deem safe then I bet adoption would be huge by those who want to help. I could be wrong but apple iphone showed me that producing what people need in a streamlined model achieved vast rapid adoption. Maybe not the best analogy I don’t know but I think there is something there.

If it's a popular negative attitude being centralized and reinforced by monetization, this will look like profits for shitposting to the outside viewer

node runners should write a script that takes incoming routing transactions, scrapes some predefined source of randomness from them, maps that to ad libs for a shitpost prompt for ChatGPT, and postrs the output on nostr.
