Currently X gives uses the option to provide ID and also may request it when investigating certain policy breaches but I cannot find info of a blanket ID request to use X as this post suggest
My understanding is that you can’t access certain content like explicit videos from Gaza if you don’t provide ID for age, not that you have to give it for other content on X that’s deemed “safe” for all audiences. But I’m not at X anymore so I don’t care.
