I felt like I needed to take my health back, I was eating to much processed junk, especially at night. Embarrassingly fist full of chocolates were the usual, with 1-3 weekly trips to McDonald's 6 months ago. I have been cutting back but unable to resist temptation.

Junk food addiction is real man. The ads and signs are everywhere and it's super normalized. Really hard habit to break, but you got this 💪

Glad you got this under control. Eating is not only about you, it is also about feeling well all the gut bacterias. They are the backbone of human health, including mental health.

Since I got the farm I have been eating an extra meal when I get home, I could tell my body needed food. Been resisting the seconds dessert and it was time to just stop.

My vocabulary is very prodigious. I aim for food ingredients. If I have too, but cooking whole foods is best

This is the key for me. If things are too convenient I eat too much, I need to just buy ingredients 😂 If I cook everything from scratch there is less chance to mindlessly feed.

Ouff! I’ve been there. I work on a reward system - didn’t buy take out? Enjoy the food at home and buy myself $5 of BTC. we had an epic burger battle here at the local restaurants. Each Friday I would make a “healthier” (and cheaper) at home version. It’s the little things! 💜

I avoid eating breakfast and try to not eat anything after 8pm. Missing bfast is easy for me. Its not eating after 8pm which i find the hardest and when i slip up, its usually with choc/carbs. Still fighting though.

You can do it! Junk food is engineered to be addictive, just like cigarettes. People quit smoking all the time. You can quit junk food. One day you’ll wake up and you will have already eaten your very last french fry.

It’s a strange version of peer pressure where we end up all wanting to better ourselves. Sit down and write down what you can eat and should eat. Make them or have plans to obtain them during the day, before you get hungry. It's very hard to be rational and resist your cravings when hungry.

First, switch to healthier alternatives of the things you like right now. For example: switch to healthier chocolate with better ingredients. Hu brand chocolate bars are a good choice for that.

Second step, know if you're craving something sweet, eat a piece of fruit or drink some coconut water instead of a processed option.

Then ofc the final step is to cut down whatever you shouldn't intake at all to eventually cut those off.
