I live my life in accordance with the 4 Agreements: - be impeccable with your word - make no assumptions - take nothing personally - always do your best I'm a sovereign soul choosing unconditional love over fear. 💚

Under terrain theory, I don't think viruses exist. I don't believe that they've ever isolated a virus or proven that an infected person can pass it to a healthy person.

It says that what's happening is your body has become overwhelmed with toxin & it needs to get it out of you. Hence the mucous, vomiting & other excretions.

I'm not sure if I completely buy it, but it starts to make a lot of sense when you look at viral treatments. Many may not be killing the virus, so much as denaturing/oxidising the toxin to get it out of your body.

Chlorine dioxide is a treatment that immediately comes to mind.

🤷

I'm increasingly starting to believe more in terrain theory over germ theory.

So many people I know have been getting sick after travelling & taking international flights.

Makes me wonder what toxins people are being exposed to while traveling or in a sealed aeroplane.

Yeah I like the idea of metabolic flexibility. To fast if there is no good food to eat or indulge in a sweet treat from my garden as it periodically presents itself.

I'm actively avoiding swamping though which is consuming high fat & carbohydrate together. No lasagne for me right now 🤣

It's said that moderation is far harder than abstinence. Nevertheless I'm seeking moderation & all the mind games that come with that.

🫂💚

Yeah I feel that.

I feel like ketosis is good for surviving but not so great for thriving.

At the moment I'm going in & out of ketosis each week.

In ketosis my appetite is suppressed to the point where I have to almost force myself to eat. Too many days like that & I feel like I'm shrivelling up like a prune. It's like I can't seem to retain moisture.

My covid chub is starting to melt off & I'm slowly regaining my muscle. I'm only 4 weeks in so it's still early & hasn't become tiresome yet.

30% through this epoch & the bull has barely woken up.

LFG!

Lol mine is on the stove reducing right now.

All the bones & fatty meat has been strained out.

Well we made it up to a lookout on a hill nearby.

The moon slowly turned orange but didn't really disappear.

It was a beautiful clear night though & it was a fun adventure.

Dropped that note into Chat after telling it to become a game designer. It's close but no cigar.👇

Core Concept

Players live through an economy where:

Costs inflate every round.

Paychecks stagnate.

Taxes take a cut automatically.

Investments siphon away what little you have left.

The goal isn’t to “win” by becoming rich—it’s to survive longer than the others while the system grinds everyone down.

Components

Income Cards – fixed paychecks (e.g., “$1000 per round”).

Expense Deck – groceries, rent, utilities, medicine, fuel. Each expense card has a starting price, but an inflation track increases costs every time they’re drawn.

Tax Marker – auto-collects 30% of everyone’s paycheck each round.

Hedge Fund Cards – companies that profit from expenses (e.g., Big Rent Co., MegaGrocer Inc.). You must buy stock in these, but they only pay dividends when you or other players are squeezed.

Debt Tokens – if you can’t pay, you go into debt. Debt compounds.

Inflation Tracker – a dial or board that ticks up every round.

Setup

Each player starts with:

1 Income card ($1000)

$200 cash

1 mandatory Hedge Fund card (randomly dealt)

Shuffle Expense Deck and place face-down.

Set Inflation Tracker to Level 1.

Gameplay (Card Game Flow)

Each round = one “month.”

Paycheck Phase: Everyone receives $1000 → pay 30% to taxes immediately.

Expense Phase: Each player must draw 2–3 Expense cards. Pay the listed price × current inflation multiplier.

Example: Groceries start at $100. If drawn three times, cost rises to $150, then $200, etc.

Hedge Fund Phase: If you bought MegaGrocer Inc., every time ANY player pays for groceries, you gain $10 dividend.

BUT: you must also contribute a minimum investment each round (e.g., $50 upkeep).

Debt Phase: If you can’t pay, take a Debt Token. Each token accrues interest (10% per round).

Inflation Phase: Tick up the inflation marker → all future prices increase.

Endgame

The game ends when all but one player are bankrupt.

If multiple players go bankrupt in the same round, whoever has the least debt is the “winner.”

For a dark comedy ending, you can also rule that the house always wins: if nobody survives 10 rounds, the Hedge Fund deck “wins.”

Optional Board Game Version

Board = circular “monthly calendar” where pawns move each round. Spaces = pay taxes, pay rent, mandatory “investment review,” surprise expenses.

Events Deck adds chaos: “Car broke down (+$200),” “Government stimulus check (+$100),” “New tax hike (35% rate).”

Tone

This game plays like satire. It’s fast, frustrating, and designed to spark table talk:

“Do I pay rent or groceries this turn?”

“I invested in Big Rent, so I’m literally profiting off you suffering.”

“I went bankrupt in 3 months.”

Question for you:

Do you want me to design Inflation as a party game (funny, 15–20 minutes, lots of chaos), or as a strategy card game (30–60 minutes, resource management, heavier satire)?

I really like how that game is sounding!

Would def play it.

I'm hoping I'll get some awesome pics but they never really seem to work out 🤣

The full lunar eclipse happens at 18:10 UTC tonight which is 4am local time here.

So in about 11 hrs I'm going to hunt it out somewhere high as it will be low in the horizon.

He doesn't even know how expensive that lesson was because he's pricing it in USD.

Yes but you get yourself into bit of a logic loop.

Say you determine that Bitcoin is the best place for your capital & it's going to outperform 10% pa over 5 years.

Why would you borrow to start a business when you could just borrow to buy more Bitcoin?

There's risk in a Bitcoin backed loan, but if you're going that way anyway, why wouldn't you just go harder?

It's an interesting thought experiment.

I've been tempted to start a lawn mowing or gutter cleaning service. It requires a very low initial capital outlay & is labour intensive. Perfect for me.

Window washing is another example.

They're shitty jobs that need to be done. There's also generally little competition if you provide a decent service.

I feel like both sides of the street understand compounding. It's a nice street & both sides RE investment has been compounding at roughly the same rate.

I'd wager both sides of the street have savings that are invested to compound.

I'd say the less rich side is made up of highly paid professionals & the wealthy side is more likely entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are able to extract the value of other's labour & can more easily scale theirs.

Compounding has a huge effect but it's the ability to scale your own efforts that sets you apart. Even the most sought after surgeon can only bill 40-50hrs of their time each week. The owner of the surgery can have 5 surgeons billing 40hrs a week & can add more with only a little extra effort/cost.

Really succeeding in the fiat world is determined by your ability to extract value from others.

I'd be going an 8 because it seems the sweet spot in terms of price.

The 9 & 10s are still pretty new & so fetch a decent price 2nd hand.

Second hand Pixels are pretty cheap.

I just waited for my wife & my daughters phones to need replacing. They both run pixels now and we communicate using Simplex.

Installing graphene on pixels is pretty easy now.

It takes a little getting used to but it's so nice not being spied in by Google or Apple.

The food pyramid

That taxes fund government spending

Cancer & diabetes research

Institutionalised schooling

Fluoride in the water for strong teeth

Solar & wind to reduce coal use

Paper straws

Sunscreen for cancer prevention

Vaccines to prevent deseases

All those lines in the sky are just vapour

Climate change caused by a gas that makes up 0.04% of our atmosphere

Heart healthy fats

And I'm not even trying....

Oh nice!

I used to try & do this kind of stuff with a pick axe & shovel.

A tractor is more than adequate.

I love the idea of triumphing despite the malevolence.

Bitcoin will win because it's the best system, it doesn't need to defeat the fiat system.

I believe humans are much more powerful than we've been led to believe. I believe we're only now starting to remember this truth & that Bitcoin is helping with this remembering.

Live your best life by making choices that are most in alignment with who you truly are. There is nothing to fear. Our biggest risk is existing without truly living.

On your penis?

No need to apologise, just link it properly next time.

We're all still learning how to Nostr.

Marty has only just stopped doing this with his long form posts.

Great advice man.

It always pains me a little seeing this kind of stuff now that I didn't understand while my son was young.

It reminds me that we need to be bringing older, wiser men in to help raise our sons.

I was 28 when my son was born & I was emotionally still a boy. I didn't have the wisdom, resources & mental strength that I have now. I would certainly have done a few things differently.

I think your thoughts & feelings are downstream of your beliefs, definitions & agreements.

There is no in built meaning to anything that arises in our reality. It's our definitions & beliefs that shape their meaning. We have full control over how we perceive events but not through pure force of our mind, it's by shaping & crafting our beliefs & definitions.

A big one I've found helpful was accepting responsibilty for everything that arises. I chose this event, this expression, at a higher level, why? What insight does this show me? What can I learn from this? I don't like how this feels, what do I still believe that is causing me this pain?

My aim was never to become a stoic, it was to illuminate my suffering. Pain is inevitable but suffering is a choice. It's resistance to what is. It's ultimately my beliefs & definitions that cause the resistance. Once I started shifting my beliefs, everything else started shifting.

I think it's an and not an or. I don't think fiat suddenly dies but Bitcoin will exist beside it as fiat repeatedly crashes further in value.

Bitcoin is available for anyone when they're ready. Sadly I don't think everyone will choose it.

I loved this one man. So much of it resonated with me & it fills me with joy to hear you express it.

So much of our conditioning has been in getting us to focus on the physical & to deny the significance or existence of the nonphysical.

It's such a trip when you think about it. 30 mins work + a couple of years of care & you have a plant that makes free food for you. From that plant you can multiply it many times over.

I'm done buying avocado plants. Ironically the most recent 2-3 I've bought are actually doing quite well. The other 5 have I've bought, died slowly over a decade. I've a feeling my new ones (yet to sprout) will quickly overtake them in size. It'll be interesting to watch.

As a Bitcoiner I find real value in taking seeds & cuttings to propogate new plants at very little cost. It feels very open source to me.

Low time preference is a must. All it takes is a seed, some work & linear time. It kind of applies to most things in life. You've gotta trust the process & plant lots of seeds.

A long read, but the author (a brother of mine) has taken much time to condense his thoughts.

It's also worth a small fraction of your time.

I also started lifting again after a 2 year break.

Yes life is much more enjoyable.
