I have also been thinking about getting a small digital camera to replace my phone but did not consider one with a built in printer.
Most of the time the purpose of taking a photo is not to capture every detail in ultra high definition but to capture a moment and a memory. Our phones are great at capturing detail but far too often the moment gets lost either by the distraction of our phones themselves or lost in terabytes of storage.
It is good to realise a futire exists outside the confines of our political reality but it is important to remember we still live within it for now.

Yes. However I think there is an intentional attempt to use less emotive language in headlines. The stpeyvis no longer just breaking however worlds like "shooting at rally" are used which seems to me intentionally less evocative than "assassination attempt".
My comment was more to highlight the twist of the media downplaying headlines.
Refreshing my browser the headlines have now gone from "popping noises" to "shots fired".
You could give them the benifit of the doubt and say that they did not want to misreport on such a big story however even when the headlines just claimed loud noises the article itself mentioned shots.
Interesting idea. I had not considere this but I am sure you are right that there is AI watching streams to get out the first report.
