I feel like people are talking about it, and I'm trapped in the lobby, missing it. I'm using bitchat downloaded from the zapstore, on version 1.1.0. I thought the idea was that we could also use our npubs to sign messages and have some continuity of identity over this mesh.

2. Meshcast Radio (offline citywide “station”): Short voice notes or 60-sec newscasts that ripple across a geohash.

I've been loving Bitchat, here are some random thoughts that come to mind when using it:
- some search functionality to search for topics being discussed all around the world. Or being able to search "bitcoin" and filter my city geohashes to find people talking about it near me.
- seeing where mesh nets are could be cool, so if there was one in my city I could go check it out by wandering there.
- perhaps some voice channels similar to teamspeak?
- map viewer
- save geohash regions to access them later
- increase hitbox on clickable elements, might be iOS issue only
- It would be nice to be able to create events and see how many people say they will go
- show active users near me even if its no my specific street/neighborhood, maybe the street next to mine is popping off.
- I don't know if verifying nostr identity takes away from the anon experience, but its something to consider
This app already fills a super cool niche but it for sure has a lot of potential and could go in many different directions, I'm excited to see whats next!
