You are right. I still see it as the same military-political block. I dont presume to know an answer. HRF is doing great work, and I remain wary of institutions that can pressure them, including those in the west.

This 1:1 worked well for me some time ago at a startup pitchday with VCs in the mix, and led to an option on angel investment. One of my favorite things about nostrica is the openness, and being able to join conversations and leave freely.

After speaking with nostriches, the main stage feels antithetical to the ethos of nostr.

There is no dialogue, outside the approved dialogue. There is limited to no way to ask questions - neither of the podium, neither of your neighbors.

There are no breakouts to discuss 21 different experiments between 100 different people to solve the problem being discussed.

Main stage feels like a political rally at a bigger, impersonal audience nostr was never intended to be.

I would like to hear nostriches views on the main stage being shattered into 21 pieces, and moving away from a one way podium to more workshops and conversations for builders.

I’d selfishly love to discuss with e.g. Miljan, Pablo, Rabble and the builders and bounce off practicable ideas to improve individual apps, and the nostr multi-app experience.

Besides I will always watch the talks later in my own time.

If you are using a relay set app such as Damus, if you remove a relay or few from your list your follower count will reduce.

Conversely, if you add a few new relays your follower count will increase.
